CONFIRMED Next seasons kit

Was hoping we might have secured a Nike kit. They seem very popular at the World Cup. Although I have plenty of Adidas stuff, I never really liked their football shirts.
 



For a quick turnaround rush job, I think it's a fine shirt. I would have maybe given the Adidas logo a black outline, but love the deeper red we've had previously with Adidas, much more than the full 100% bright red Errea used. Just looks classier. Can already see it's a better fit - slimmer and longer. United badge is embroiled rather than single stitched - much more durable and another sign of better quality. The back is very similar to the 2021/22 Adidas shirt we had with the offset black pin stripes, which I'm ok with. Looks fine with names and numbers as it fills the blank space. Like the fact we have the new Adidas branding. I would've feel short-changed if we'd been given the older style.

Shorts - just about perfect.

Socks - Hmm, nope. It's where the full strip falls short for me. Should've been white preferably - for a fresher more retro look, or black. Red is just not United.

An 8/10 - looks neat and very classy. A solid start.

Bearing in mind we have plenty of source material from when we had Adidas before ie solid if unspectacular designs I'm genuinely not sure why you expected anything else this time and have let yourselves get disappointed 🤷‍♂️.

I agree that we knew it would be exactly as it is but you hope that when it does come that it's still a reasonable kit like we had in the first season back in the championship.

I was most disappointed when I heard that we'd returned to Adidas rather than the kit launch because as you say we knew what was coming.

I'll probably still buy one, but it's just not very exciting. Errea got grilled for their build quality (and for good reason), but at least the designs were unique and interesting. I could probably find half a dozen other clubs using this same design with a different colour scheme somewhere in England.

Keep saying it, it’s a red & white striped shirt, it’s always going to be a bit limited what you can do with red & white stripes.

As an adult I’ll be rightly furious if that back is solid, or isn’t solid, but a panel might or might not be okay. Let me check.

Some terrible photoshopping of the blades crest on the training wear though.
 
Blackout Avec top a bit random. Will go for the vests in the end of season sale. Not a fan of this seasons adidas goalkeeper template, but will probably get the other 3 kits (collection).

No...but they're unlikely to change. From the training gear, the only changes are:
Tanganga to 5 (from 2)​
Cannon to 9 (from 7)​
Rothwell to 7 (from 48)​

Bamford (still 45)​

didn't look like it had the option to purchase without the "Midnite" sponsor unless I missed that somewhere?

Club haven't said anything yet. My guess though would be we get a reveal on Fri 24th July. We'll need an alternative shirt for the friendly at Rotherham on the 25th, and they won't want fans first look to be when the players run out for kick off.
 
For anyone who cares, can confirm they all have the midnite patch applied by default in the store.
They only had 1 that did not. I also note on wolves website there's no option there either. Looks like this is a midnite decision
And despite being a defender of the gambling industry I do think thats a poor call as it's hardly respectful for people with actual gambling problems

Edit. I always thought you HAD to offer a sponsorless version for these purposes but clearly I am wrong
Us, wolves, qpr have no such option
West ham and stoke do
So it varies
