A lot of these shirts merge into each other.

I may be in the minority but would little us to have one season with an absolute shocker of a shirt which gains cult value. A bit like the diamond one did.

Maybe we have diagonal stripes or wavy ones. Something that irritates the purists just so we can then have a really nice one next year BIr it at least feels different!
I hear you brother.

You mean something like this?

This looks like a cross between the shirt of a gang knife victim, and an Eton mess dessert.

Yep, I loved the white anniversary pin stripe kit but people hated it because it broke from tradition. Ironic really seeing as it was a replica of our first shirt

"Officer, I've had meringue, fresh cream and forest fruits poured all over me."

"I don't think you have mate."

Messed about and made a home, away, and third kit.

The new grey training top has that blocky look of the game kids play, Minecraft, does that fall into your category of shocker?

I know it's not a game jersey.

Looks like it'll be this

Honestly shirts are just simply unreasonable now. I would like to give money to the club but not when I feel like I'm being entirely shafted.

A cheap replica from DH gate is not close to bad enough to stop me buying it and in all my years I don't recall a time anyone asked me if my united shirt was official or not.

Once upon a time they were 50 quid and even that was bad enough but I bought them anyway, these days they can eat shit. I'm sure my lack of purchase won't hurt the club anywah but there must be more like me.
I buy the official kits to put money in the club but I buy the kids ones off DH Gate now.

My daughter is 7 and a full kit would cost £50ish compared to £12 from DH Gate. £70 for garment to roll around on the floor in or get covered in ice lollies or spaghetti bolognese.

I used to enjoy the aspect of collecting shirts from other clubs/countries as well and would only buy the real deal but it’s unjustifiable no and it seems everyone is walking round in fakes these days……everyone accepts the real ones are too expensive.

“Everyone“..?
I’ve never bought a fake one, and I get two or three a year.

Well put it this way I can't honestly say anyones every questioned the legitimacy of my footy shirts but in all fairness I'd never deny it, I buy fakes purely because I struggle to justify paying the money for it.

Before the world cup started the missus ordered an England shirt with our names on them for me, her, her auntie and the little one a full kit and all in all come to something like 65 quid. Had she bought officials it would have been over 250 quid. It's just a no brainer when they arrive and you can barely tell the difference (unless you're in to all this and look for all the intricate details I assume)

I will always order the littles ones kit from DH Gate, witnessed it first hand this morning. Put him in his England shirt for the day and in the space of him walking from the house and round the back of the car he's brushed past and put a huge black line across it. I woild be furious if I'd paid official pricing for that.

United can confirm that the club’s online retail store will be temporarily closed from 5pm Monday 29th June.

The short period of downtime follows the recent announcement of the club’s new partnership with Fanatics, as preparations continue ahead of the new online retail store launch in early July to create an improved online supporter experience.

Supporters will be unable to make purchases online during this period, but the club expects to provide a further update around Monday 6th July.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused during this short period.
