Why do people engage with him? He knows sod all then backtracks when called out

If he's being that pedantic on choice of words, then he needs to reign it in as he was saying in his article that we had "explored the possibility" when now he's saying it's all signed and sealed.

Danny and The Star being a year late to the news as per usual then having to correct what they have said.

We were blessed when we had Nathan Hemmingham at Yorkshire Live. He is working for the BBC as a senior journalist now.

Ah yes, Nathaniel Humperdink - not heard his name for a while........

That was a very long-winded way of him essentially typing “I’m an arsehole”.

You’d think, given he wrote a book about kits, he’d know the deal is done, the shirt designs are finalised and probably in production and that nothing is being explored, as per his article.

I know we've announced that Errea have finished at the end of this season but is there a reason why we can't announce anything officially until that contract expires?

Danny claiming he knew all along now:

The Adidas shirt in this photo from the relegation season was a typical example of an Adidas home shirt for us. I must be alone or in the minority in being annoyed that we've returned to Adidas shirts because they didnt do one decent home shirt in my opinion. All had either solid backs, solid sleeves or about two stripes on the front and back and the rest all the other colour. I know Errea did a solid back this season but overall their kits have been decent and more traditional designs in my opinion for the home shirt.

If anyone can disprove this and Adidas have produced a striped shirt recently like the ones Umbro did in the late eighties and early nineties with consistent stripes all over the shirt both front and back then I'll take some comfort that we might have a similar template next season.

I liked the 2017 / 18 bouncing day home strip, I thought it was impactful and impressive.

Apart from that I agree with you.. Indeed the one we won promotion in during 2018 / 19 was one of the worst Home strips we’ve ever had.

Why do people get so hung-up on Danny Hall's reporting?

Because the likes of Staton, Biggs and Hall seem to have an issue with anyone prepared to give them any pushback on their reporting.

Nothing wrong with Hall just saying "Fair enough, I was wrong on this one." but his ego gets in the way. Same goes for Rob Staton.

That was the best one but still contained did sleeves I recall.

Is there still a rule from Uefa that says clubs can't have stripes on the back of shirts?
