Will be a relegation battle and not in Prem! Higher earners moved on freebies, loans and kids will be best we can hope for

If you really feel that will be the case with the quality that we still have and others coming in then I think you will be surprised !
Just look at the turmoil going on at some Championship clubs already.
We may not get promoted (although we might) but we will be close and nowhere near relegation.

I'll buy into the hype if Berge stays - he's been so much better since we found him a home in a more advanced position. Give me another quality loan to replace the gap left by MGW and we'll have a quality attack with Brewster, Sharp and N'Diaye to add to the mix

We outplayed Forest at their ground and won the game 1-2.We lost because the players were not motivated in the game at home, they came out totally flat. With the fantastic crowd behind them they didn't show up until Berge's goal gave them a chance to redeem themselves. Just need some grit and speed into midfield and a player who has the confidence to take on and beat a man.

I think it's more likely that his agent put that out to try and pressure United to lower their demands

We did outplay Forest but it wasn't a normal match.

We were 2 goals down at half-time with nothing to lose...so all our players had no choice but to be 100% positive with zero pressure or expectation. Where as the Forest players saw the finish line in sight and knew all they needed to do was hold on.

So it was obvious with the mindset of the 2 teams there would be a big change in the early stages of the 2nd half.
Once we scored.....we were on the up and the Forest players were riddled with panic and the pressure of possible failure.

In the 1st leg of course our players were massively motivated but Forest are a counter attacking side with a great away record.
They adopted perfect tactics to attack our weakness. They sat back defending then had quick counter attacks.
They had midfield runners who were much quicker than our slow midfield of Norwood and Fleck.
Also Egan has always struggled with pace and long balls over the top.

Agree though...that we're not far off a promotion team.
When you consider that we had 6 or 7 long term injuries to major players then it's impressive that we reached the play-offs.
