Just watching Wet Spam and they are bloody awful.
The players are bone idle and just jogging around the pitch. The one thing we don't lack is effort. Wilder critisised the players for their first half performance but our effort is never in question.

Supporters leaving in droves leads me to beleive that Pellegrini will be gone very soon. Nice to hear the boo's around the ground. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of supporters.

Well if the player look half arsed, that's not a patch on Pellegrini who demonstrated his commitment to the cause by not even being arsed to scout United properly as evidenced by his pre match comments about us which couldn't be further from the truth.

Just think he's a lazy twat who is going through the motions down there and probably wants a nice big payoff so he can piss off back to Italy.

When all the pubs were closing several years ago I couldn't understand why pubco.'s didn't start following the Wetherspoons model who were bucking the trend in that particular industry.

On these boards in the Adkins era we had posters demanding the club appoint a manager 'who understood' the club and knew what we were all about.

The club seemed to listen, enter Chris Wilder and we have had unprecedented success. Looking at the pundits predictions we are so far bucking the trend.

On Saturday we saw Duncan Ferguson, who seems to 'understand' Everton take charge and produce an emphatic win over Chelsea.

This morning I'm reading that some guy from Germany is favourite to take over at Goodison Park.

Have the owners of these clubs got their heads so far up their arses that they can't bring themselves to follow the Blades model?

Other clubs don't need Chris Wilder, they need their own Chris Wilder. However finding that is like winning the lottery.

Pellegrini is calm and laid back...so it does give the impression that he’s not that bothered....suspect he’s not the best motivator.

Also I don’t think he’s ever worked or lived in Italy.
Manual Pellegrini is a Chilean and even managed the national team and being a native Spanish speaker he’s also spent several years working in Spain managing several clubs, he’s managed in Chile, Argentina and China too.

I think change is coming. The Everton revival at the weekend and repeated requotes of having to fight for the right to play. The contrast with teams like Arsenal, westham, Watford, Everton not playing for their foreign managers and the right in yer face example of what Chris wilder is doing. Expect to see bigger teams going for British managers and, unfortunately for us, Chris's stock rising even higher.

it is all well and good having someone who understands the club, but having someone who understands the club AND is a great manager, is a completely different kettle of fish, plus bare in mind that CW was quite lucky/ clever to find AK, who is apparently the brains behind all of our tactics

Fair points made, but what is his defence then for him being so utterly wrong with his pre match comments about how United play, before we played them earlier this season? It just struck me at the time as someone who didn't have a clue about SUFC and was making it up as he went along, or was simply repeating what he had heard from the local media.

It came across as someone who hadn't bothered to check us out and do his homework on us, or just plain lazy to put it another way. I thought he would get a bit of a wake up call that day.

The idea that the appointment of Wilder can in some way be attributed to what people were saying on this forum is nothing short of laughable, as is the idea that having red and white blood coursing through your veins guarantees success. We had Adams in charge, look how that turned out. Wilder is a top manager. He's been a success at his other clubs as well as us. His association with united is a nice add on for the fans and the press. His value is his ability understand football and his man management skills. Long may it continue.

No way will Spam go down. They're the BBC's 'in-house' team, the media thinks everybody loves them (when, in reality, people either hate them or don't give a fuck) and - as we saw in 2007 - normal rules don't apply to our luvvable, bubble-blowing '66 World Cup winners.

Further proof of this is Wendy's (justifiable) scrutiny over their stadium sale. This obviously doesn't apply if you're given a stadium (Coe's Folly), thus allowing Spam to spend lavishly on (usually crap) players. And all to hide the enormous cost of a glorified school sports day where drug-taking is mandatory.

West Ham have been stinking the PL out for long enough and relegation to the Championship would reinvigorate them. Employ Moyes as manager and relegation is assured.
