In the league Rotherham (h), Stevenage (h), tranmere (a), then port vale (a) is it really beyond the realms of possibility to get 10 maybe 12 points from these games, and admittedly we need teams above us now to drop points which some like Peterborough have been in recent weeks, for us to be right back in the last play off place race.
Love that we one game from an FA cup final but I still maintain we shouldn't put the hull game as the be all and end all of this season.
It's a big ask from the players but should it not be as the old football cliche goes "concentrate on one game at a time" rather than focus on one game to define a season?

Roller ... it's 'mission accomplished' for Cluff, innit?

I believe his brief when he took over was 'don't get us relegated'. He has done that. I think that stretching the ambition to gaining a playoff place is fruitless. We don't have the strikeforce to win crucial games like those and you know, we are shitola at playoffs, anyway. And, in the miraculous event we gain promotion, do you think we are ready for Championship football next season anyway?

Best we can do is aim to come away from the remaining games like Toytown with a draw, beat the teams at the bottom and tuck ourselves up in behind the playoff spots and sign some decent talent during the close season.

And as for the FA Cup, we just go out there and let the opposition worry about being beaten.
