1. All members of the house of Saud receive allowances from the govt. This guy directly benefits from his family's murderous dictatorship.

2. His family is actually quite a central one to the Saudi network. His brother was the one who assassinated King Faisal back in 1975.

3. He isnt just some entrepreneur who founded a business, worked hard and saved up to buy the blades. He was given the money by the family/state to set up a business which profited due to preferential treatment as a royal owned business. Thats how nepotistic authoritarian regimes work. The money being used to buy us is dirty money.

4. To claim its no big deal he is a government minister in a vile dictatorship is complete shite. Like saying the bloke in charge of youth affairs in Germany between 1933-1945 wasnt a Nazi. Newsflash, they were and our prince is at the heart of one of the most oppressive countries in the world. And we havent even got on to the subject of wahabism and the exporting of a fundamentalist version of Sunni islam which is largely responsible for the conservative and radical turn in muslim communities over the past 50 years, including in this one.

I urge you again,ask your muslim mates what they think of saudi and wahabism. Unless they are wahabis they will definitely tell you how bad it is. Theyre the ones sowing the seeds of extremism across the muslim world.

One final point, the football world has been getting het up about that young Iranian lass not being able to watch a football game. In the country where our Prince is responsible for developing youth like her, she couldnt even drive, go out the house without a male chaperone let alone go to a football match auch as at Al Hilal where Princey was chairman.

I agree with everything you say Dynamo, except we don't know if he's a nobhead. Time will tell us if he is or not, and I do have to say football club owners and chairpeople don't have a good track record on that front! I've put a lot of posts on here expressing my worries about hitching the Blades to a representative of the world's most repressive regime but we are where we are. Football is a wonderful game but those who run and control it have, with a few honourable exceptions, always been it's "dark side ".

He's not actually in any position of power now you know. Hasn't been a member of the government since April 2017, was only appointed to the government in 2014 afaik.
