Just bin on Radio Sheffield that mcCabe and directors had a meeting last nite to choose manager and should be announced today they think its between wilson and robins

:thumbdown::thumbdown:

Rather have Peter Reid than them. If its between them two then please let it be Robins

I see that Cheryl Cole has just been dumped from the US X-Factor. Maybe she's coming in under the radar. She knows a bit about footballers; her team talks would be interesting - if anyone could understand them.

She'd definitely have their attention though, well she'd have mine anyway!

RS has been pushing Wilson so they can have a good laugh at us ,surely McCabe has looked further afield than the surrounding towns if he wants to get this right.

Ive heard that the appointment has been made but the announcement wont be made until tomorrow

Wilson, oh dear god no....

Way to alienate the few fans left who actually think McCabe is doing a good job that is. Appointing an ex-pig.

I honestly cannot understand all the hostility towards Wilson becoming manager. We weren't foaming at the mouth when we signed Geary, Bromby or Quinn.

He did a decent job at Swindon and the only reason they struggled last season was because he lost both his main strikers and was given no money to replace them

A mate is on a London train has just texted me say he's got Wilson and Morgs in his carriage on the same table together..cheap as chips part 3 is coming to a screen near you soon...

Because theres no possibility of that sort of thing happening at BDTBL...

Plenty were (and I know one or two who still are) but they overcame this with on the whole good performances. If it is Wilson and he gets off to a good start, all will be forgotten (bar a tiny minority) but the issue will be if he doesn't...

A very sensible response.

I wish people would stop using excusses like above for wanting some terrible names as the next manager. In your own words, you have clearly stated why we should avoid Wilson etc

"was given no money to replace them"

The next manager won't get any money too, so why appoint someone who struggles with no money
