It's just come to me. It will be Dean Saunders. He ticks all the boxes.

1. Popular ex United player
2. Relatively big name
3. Desperate for a job after 2 relegations and hence cheap
4. Can be sold as "having experience at championship level and having managed a big club"

Oh dear.

Saunders was also Gary Speed's neighbour apparently, so he can also come up with the sentimetal guff (to be said in a Welsh accent) "I really see myself as carrying on the good work Gary started here..."

Trouble is he will be strung up if he doesn`t get us promoted....

Too soon?

be surprised if he isnt still wolves manager at the start of next season.

he inherited a team and club in decline, i can't see why theyd sack him at the moment.
who are they gonna get to replace him?
