New kit - now released

All advertisments are hidden for logged in members, why not log in/register?

I went to buy the Bradford tickets yesterday, and while there I popped into the shop. Other than the cheap tacky sponser plastic stick ons, on the shirt I don't think it looks too bad, and dare I say it... the away doesnt look as bad in person either :oops:
 

After seeing them both "in the flesh", the stripes on the home one are way too thin, don't like it at all. The away one is better than it looks in the photos and if it wasn't for that stupid fucking Football Manager logo on the back of it, I would buy one when they reduce them to a tenner at Xmas as we play in yellow when we play football on a Wednesday night

Yes, granted, a great day out, but why were we in yellow and not in the red and white stripes? I still think we should wear our kit unless absolutely necessary to wear our "change" kit. We play in red and white stripes and we should do that home and away unless we have to change...
 
Just watched the highlights and the home kit looks great! Seems to have quite a slim cut to it and the sleeves being slightly tighter on the arms.

I love the thinner stripes. But the collar looks a bit shit.

The sponsor is too big and looks like it's been ironed on

think there should be an option to buy the shirt without a sponsors logo on ,me personally i don't want to walk around like an advertising hoarding but would like to wear the colours of my club . so I would buy one if they were sponsorless.
 
Having now seen the kit up close it looks ok,at least its got traditional r n w stripes. However, if I was a Notts County fan then I would be very dissapointed with what can only be described as a bar code design. Surely a football club as some say in agreeing a design?

The sponsor is always ironed on not sure we have had a sponsor that is part of the shirt since Wards sponsored us.

its hard to believe put some people back then still had black and whit tv so two teams in stripes was unwatchable

I'm not sure it was. The first time we had it on they had to change the colour of it from white text on a black background to black on white as it didn't stand out enough (or was it te other way round?) and as a result they offered a free shirt to everyone who'd bought the original one.

The others I'm pretty sure were an iron on transfer too. Think I've got them all but I can't be bothered to check.
 
It was originally mostly red text on white background, then changed to all black text on white background, but yes it was because it didn't show enough
 
Don't really like either new strip, but away one is shite! Is that young Louis reed?

No mate, it was definitely ironed on/stuck on.

The first issues were red text on white background.

mattbianco1 is correct and I think I'll have to apologise to Bladesman too. I've got this shirt and wear it a lot so I checked last night and confirm its stuck on.

I thought the Malta sponsor was integrated in the shirt but they're stuck on. So unless someone can bail me out and show a Malta one that was integrated then I'll admit I was wrong here :) bugger!

Incidentally though, the Malta sponsors are much better as the shirt itself has a white panel just bigger than the logo so the sponsor looks part of the shirt....
