Hands up who likes the Cameroon look.

Didn't Cameroon have a onesie kit a few years back? That'd be a grin for your average bloke to sport.

Got to say my kappa Italy shirt from this period is a little more skin tight on me but it represented a welcome return to simplicity following a decade of Jacquard looms and idiotic 'watermarks' in the weave. Note the lack of trademark on the chest.

(Oh aye I think that one might be worth looking up Latters.)

Mixed feelings about those designs, Ryza. Not a fan of the home strip at all, I think it's pretty rank - the stripes are too thin for me - but the yellow away strip is fantastic. I would almost certainly buy that. I love the third shirt too, though if I'm honest it looks more like leisure wear or a training top than an actual football shirt (maybe that was your intention?!) I'd definitely wear it anyway, and would probably consider buying it (would be a choice between that and the yellow one, which I would probably plump for).

Rumour is that all replica shirts will arrive with "EVANS 9" on the back. That'll put some off ;)
It'll definitely put me off, the only time I had a shirt with a name on in the last 15 years was our ched, 3 weeks later he was banged up. I hope we re-sign him just so I can get some use out of the fucker

There is a vote on twitter about some designs
They have done the home kit vote already and these are the away choices

I would go for kit C the Lime Green/ Yellow - however, I wouldn't mind a variation on that same kit if it had solid black stripes.
I am not keen on any of those that have a 'watermark' style repetition of the rose and cutlasses - nor the fadey stripes - have em solid if yer going to 'av 'em

Some of them are horrible. Some of the ones on here are better.

OK, its adidas (the Coco Chanel of football, respec is due), I think we should be rational about the design. Adidas do not NEED three stripes on their shirts but tend to want the extra advertising space.

Given that the recurring problem with the construction of a vertically striped shirt is that you often end up with a double width red or white stripe down the 'side-seams' (though I have designed shirts for Paul Smith, I'm just an architect and don't know the jargon). This happened on Currie's shirt in the 1970s and always does. Ryza's design deliberately therefore has a broader red side-panel which I think is ultimately derived from the Fila "Borg" tracksuits of the mid 1970s. But for me, that merely exaggerates the problem. The current SUFC shirt is thus constructed but, coupled with the thin stripes, it reminds me of the pinafores that the market traders wear on the pie stalls at Doncaster Market (still the best btw).

Isn't therefore the answer to put the three adidas stripes up these seams to cover the seam and possibly take it under the armpit and down the inside of the sleeve?

Its been done, I'm thinking Nellie Kim's leotard indeed I think of little else these days...

As for the backs, the Blades usually have unreadable names and numbers on the backs, (think why zebras are camouflaged in the savannah), so the classic way to do it is the square patch on the back, possibly surmounted by an oblong nameplate.

As for fabric, cotton????? as an alternative? and DO NOT LET THE PLAYERS WEAR LONGSLEEVED VESTS UNDER A SHORT SLEEVED SHIRT its simply shabby as hell. (I think Arsenal ban them doing it so should we)

Obviously the use of the 'leaf' adidas logo would bring extra prestige to the club, I'd put the badges on the sleeves.

I may mock it up. (no puns please )

Nuff sed?

Altogether now:

"Vorpal Blade has mocked it up again!"

(couldn't resist)

I don't think that Shoreham View kid understands what getting a big brand means to the club with regards designs etc.

There will be no unique embroidery in the shirts or fan choices, the kits will be off peg adidas templates. I laughed last night when looking through twitter at everyone getting giddy about his photoshop "choices". If the premiership clubs like Swansea and Sunderland didn't get unique designs, League One Sheff United definitely wont be going one.

Here's a more relevant vote out of 3:
