Just watched Crawley V Crewe earlier and the Crawley keeper looked immense 6ft 6" caught every cross and corner and really dominant in his area, made some good saves all be it from tame shots. Might be worth a punt for I assume little money, anyone else watch the game?

No chance. That would involve some employee of the club actually getting off their arses and doing some scouting and most importantly, knowing their arse from their elbow. Most United employees must wipe their elbows after they take a shit.

If it involves paying a transfer fee then forget it. Last time we came down we bought Anel in our second season and that was it. We didn't try to sign Wallace and Swift on free transfers. Until we move on Anel and Souza, if indeed we can, then we'll likely have no money to spend on transfer fees. We'll squander more money on expensive loan signings and next summer we'll probably offer Ben Osborn yet another contract.

We have to be aware of all these guys. Clubs are aware of the top none league players never mind football league. With hopefully 3 keepers leaving and knowing that for a good few months we have to have at least 2 targets already lined up and a couple in reserve

Wallace and Gromit would be an improvement on this lot….

Wallace and Gromit would be amazing signings. Bladey Blades as they have Yorkshire accents, Gromit obviously has a brain about him although might be a bit on the quiet side.

Wallace in goal easily outperforms most keepers, even got a wide mouth for extra coverage. might get the odd red card for illegal equipment
