There ARE no shitty away trips this season. Well maybe one.I On a separate note, fixtures are out tomorrow!. What's the odds on a shitty away trip?.
I must confess to knowing nothing about this Guy!!. But given the positivity from most of the posts, he must be good!!. Wilder will have something to do with this man arriving?. In wilder we trust!!. On a separate note, fixtures are out tomorrow!. What's the odds on a shitty away trip?.
Ipswich away springs to mind as well as the obvious one!!!. Ipswich is a shit hole and a nightmare to get to!.There ARE no shitty away trips this season. Well maybe one.
He is also a sports writer for the Guardian apparently.
I wonder why he says we are the only club he'd leave Spain for?
He's already stated there is only 1 club that would have persuaded him to come back from Spain. The original United, not Newton Heath rebranded.I think the same as Liverpool blade............who the fuck is he?
Can someone explain WHY this is a good signing at coach level and if so good, why have Man U not picked him up?

ClapperIt's made my day anyway.
He's got to be good with name like Alex Clapham.
Because he's a Blade.I have read that and that wasn't the question - I and others want to know why he is seen as a good signing.

I think that's how it works.
I'll raise you Swindon Town, Port Vale, Southend.Ipswich away springs to mind as well as the obvious one!!!. Ipswich is a shit hole and a nightmare to get to!.
I think you maybe at bit harsh there Fulwood.Wilder has brought a way of playing which is exciting and a winning formula. Obviously it is not unique but to be effective through out the club he needs coaches who believe in it.Hmmmm...............so was Micky Adams.........oh dear

I guess because he's been working in Spain, so people believe either he will bring a certain style of play with him or that he'll bring knowledge of Spanish players for us to recruit. Hopefully that's what we would get from him, but maybe he's just a good coach, he seems quite inexperienced to me but then again I haven't tracked his career
I'd like to think that a respected coach who works for Barca might just have a bit of knowledge of other players in Spain, made a few contacts etc.The fact he is good enough to work in Spain should be encouraging. More importantly he has spent time out of the English game absorbing other systems and styles of play. Surely this can only be a good thing, by offering a more flexible approach as required.
Any knowledge of particular players is unlikely to be a major benefit as it is difficult to see Barcelona insisting that some of rising stars go and play in the English 2nd tier. Still a slim possibility though...
The only downside of the 'Blade' thing, is the risk of 'trying too hard'. It hasn't happened to CW, so let's trust his judgement again with this one.
I know the academy advertised for a lead coach from Under 14s to 16s but this guy seems a bit over qualified for that.
Your an avid development watcher LarkyUntil this guy is formally announced i can't get my brain around what he has been brought in to do.
Sounds like he knows his stuff so is he coaching the younger age groups? Under 23s? Is he going to scout the Championship opposition ? Recommend Spanish youngsters? or will it be all of the above plus a bit of reporting for the Yorkshire Post.
