Who's being pendantic? You said 23, then changed it to 28.... now let's say a footballer comes into the team on average around 20 years old and plays to around 35 years old, 5 years is a third of that....
Anyways.... the list is hard to compile. Mainly because, as you say, the players we will be mainly looking at are out of contract players and frees.
Now, I don't know of any compilation of players with their contracts ending, nor will clubs have decided yet who is available for free.
However, players who we reasonably could get who could do a good job at that level... and are all bosmans....
