New Blades podcast - the season so far

International breaks are fun, eh?

To help pass this one I put together another podcast episode in which I have a look at our season so far - seeing as this is (thankfully) the last international break of the year, it seemed like a good spot to take stock of where we are.

I talk a bit about my preseason expectations, why I'm surprised at how well we've done, and why I hope no-one is taking for granted the fact that we've outplayed pretty much every other team in the division so far, and how great an achievement that is

At the end I also have a quick assessment of our summer signings, now that we've seen them in action.

I think it’s good mate, quality and sound are really good. Oddly, your voice also sounds quite a lot like mine, so that was strange to hear!

One thing I’d say is you don’t have to offer quite so many disclaimers/caveats. You say a few times after offering an opinion “but I’m not saying this/by that I don’t mean...” etc. It’s an opinion piece and you’re a fan, I think we all know there’s nothing sinister afoot. Other than that, it’s good. An entertaining walk to work listening to my voice double

One thing I’d say is you don’t have to offer quite so many disclaimers/caveats. You say a few times after offering an opinion “but I’m not saying this/by that I don’t mean...” etc. It’s an opinion piece and you’re a fan, I think we all know there’s nothing sinister afoot.

Thanks a lot for the feedback - yeah, I can see that I do this I do want these to be "balanced" and not hot-take/clickbait style, but I am aware that it can go too far and you end up saying very little. So that's really useful to hear, thanks again!

Oh and if the podcast happens to take off, then we can discuss voice royalties.
