Was using Chrome and PIA VPN set for Nederlands. Cast it to my 65" TV from my Windows PC. Quality wasn't bad at all, just had a little stuttering at times. Also had numbers and letters coming up now an again. Like others I kept expecting replays of goalmouth incidents. Tried to get commentary but my Blu Tooth headphones were out of range of my PC. Might watch from PC Saturday and test commentary. Like someone has said, if you put the slider back a few minutes this might help any buffering issues, but it may affect the timing of the commentary. To be honest this is the best 130 Euros I've ever spent. Bloody good value and it will get better.

How did you get the full year,, did you pay with a UK card, address etc?

Bought it in Portugal but used a UK card and UK address, also there was no phone number given at the time I purchased.

So, if I sign up while at my daughter's in Spain next month using her address and credit/debit card, would that solve any problems?

I couldn't even find the single game option, gave me free pass and full subscription options only.
Yeh, you would have thought the single match would have a button on the same screen

You have to go to the fixtures (i fink it was) and select it from there, then you go to the payment screen

I had trouble finding the button, and quite clearly, cos I cant remember exactly where it is, I will have trouble next time :)

Neulion who do the service, up until last year did he NFL Streaming, the quality was top notch, on a Broadband Service

You need sumat like 4.5MB/S which isnt a lot really

The Quality last night was shite, compared to what I know they can do ... maybe a few teething problems

Or Kev hasn't OK'd the full monty for us Blades .......

You should be able to sign up with a UK card from a UK address.

If you are in the UK you will get comms, not Video, and only if Sky are not Broadcasting the match.

If you are Outside the UK, you will be able to get Video as well.

Or maybe your mate can make it appear you are outside the UK

I used a U.K. based credit card and had no issues. So long as you login to the site with VPN on it seems to work

I didn't see any of the problems a lot seem to have experienced.

I had to refresh my VPN service once (as it disconnected), but apart from that, the quality was top notch and smooth as.

I was using the app on my ipad though.

Would also add I didn't buy a match pass - I signed up to the £4.99 a month option. Dunno if it was meant to work as it did?

Was it bright and sharp, mine wasnt

It was either poor quality and no stuttering, or getting sharper, with jittering and the higher quality I asked for the worse it got

BT Infinity 3 = 200MB/s with the fibre 4 foot from the Router, so it wern't me :)

Yeah I have virgin cable, 250MB/s, but I think it was using the ipad that probably helped.

The quality of mine was excellent but the first half it stopped about 5 or 6 times so I had to start it again, the second half was not as bad but was a little jittery sometimes.

I need to know what was causing the drops outs.

Will give it another go against Sunderland

Chrome and Touch VPN are the best options for me so far. Hardly any impact on speed using the VPN

UTB
Chrome and Touch VPN worked well for me too. For a free VPN its excellent.

I had to put the quality to 320p to stop it juttering but its still perfectly good quality.

Yep that was the setting I used, but quality was piss poor, mind you that may have been the actual match ................... :)

For all those wondering, don't pay for a VPN, Download the Opera Browser, and go into settings and security and enable the built in VPN. It works fine. Then simply log in/create your account and get your match pass/season pass.

As for the credit card, it makes no difference where it's from, you could be buying it as a gift to someone. There's nothing in the T&Cs about it.

I know a lot of folk aren't fully up to speed with the whole tech stuff, but this thread is painful.

I don't get Opera because I use Linux.

£2.50 per month NordVPN, can't complain.

Did you enter your billing address as your U.K. Card address mate? Didn't work for me??

this is going to sound like a daft question, but what is VPN? and how do i change it on my chromebook?

You probably know this by now but it is Virtual Private Network. First you buy or download free a provider of VPN and then before taking any steps to log in to whatever you wish to watch you connect to your VPN which provides you with an IP address somewhere other than where you and your IP address are. The VPN masks your whereabouts. A chrome book should have no problem. Getting difficult to use them now with such as Sky Go and Amazon.

Ifollow will be doing checks into all customers that have done these things

Signed up with a UK Card
Given a uk mobile number
Used a UK billing address

That's what they told me they also said if using a season pass and details do not comply with the terms and conditions you won't be able to use the service in future

Just saying maybe it's time to hold on a while longer before using any of the following methods to sign up

I signed up with a U.K. Address, uk mobile and U.K. Billing. I don't use it in the uk though as I don't need to.

When I signed up they accepted all these things and if they now block the access but take money then surely it's their own fault.

A simple system of not allowing +44 mobile numbers, uk addresses and I think uk credit cards all begin with the same number (first 4 digits for master/visa etc, think they may also be specific digits for a country too) would prevent people signing up from uk billing addresses

I reckon loads of people genuinely located in the EU won't bother changing banks so will still have a UK bank card and billing address. Some will retain their phone number too, given that it is now very cheap to make calls in Europe

Yup. Although I signed up using my revolut card, cos thats registered to Spain but I still use my UK bank account (and billing address) and UK phone.

Believe me, ifollow will not genuinely go out of thier way to ban/ investigate/ block anybody, a customer could genuinely be on holiday (like I was the first game of the season)

A customers' job could involve frequent travelling or you could genuinely live abroad, either way there is too many excuses as to why you could be out of the country and give UK bank/ phone/ address details.

The ifollow platform will have been designed for one thing, to make money. They will not go out of their way to lose money or customers.

I reckon they wil only follow up if you allow the games you pay for to be re-streamed. But I can't see anything stopping an Internet pirate from using a dodgy cc to pay for a single game and then offer it for public streaming. It will be a bit shit for the neutral without commentary though.

You won't get any matches being shown by one of the EFL's broadcast partners, not just those on Sky. An exmple is the match on Saturday is on ESPN in the Satets so will not be available on iFollow (as far as I'm aware).

I have also seen mentioned on other forums elsewhere that if you sign up for the UK season pass - £45 for the audio commentary only and then launch the app when connected via a VPN and location set to overseas you will get the watch match live option. Not done it myself but that's significantly chapear than the c.£110 for the overseas season pass.
