New Blades Book

Received my book by Zoe this morning - a really great effort IMHO and such a welcome change for me from the usual digital stuff that sometimes has no soul to it.

Loved the pic of the old Pukka Pie - unbeatable on a cold November afternoon and yet rarely seen in any top Michelin starred restaurants, and kinda made me look forward to forthcoming Saturday afternoons again in the Championship where my season ticket mate and me can enjoy a couple of pints and some decent nosebag before we cheer the lads on from the Kop.

Am going to send it on to my 34 year old daughter in London who's been a Bladette for 29 years now...!

In what has been a shit year, even more shit weekend for obvious reasons, after going for a long walk, then cleaning my flat.
I grabbed a beer out the fridge, sat on my bench seat on flat balcony, and finally looked through it, really made me smile and brigtened my weekend up Zoe, I think the last picture "can we go again", i imagine your dad thinking (not in a nasty way)"what have i let myself in for here", chuckling to himself though with a big smile on his face.
