Always find this kind of comment hilarious. The club should get the best players you can. Nobody, apart from pricks trying to be funny, would turn down Mbappe on loan for the rest of the season, and while that is an extreme non-serious example, saying there is nobody in between him and "ZOMG Brereton-Diaz did it for us and did it for Blackburn at this level gerrimback" in terms of quality of player who does not check the "course and distance" and "bladey blade" boxes who would be an objectively better and realistic signing seems absurd
