Obviously an early Christmas Doo and looking at the time of the OP it was a free bar too...........

we don't need it, see ya later!

We're f€]#*ng 6th for gods sake!

GLTTL'S

Bored of all this negative crap! Look at where we are just look! Stay till the whistle goes and sing for the boys!

Don't think it's negativity at this stage but more likely genuine concerns over a variety of things, especially those outside of our control

Well said, even the band playing on the Titanic went down happy

Been on a training course recently?

Instead of a real job, I am a trainer (or L&D Specialist as I like to call myself, others may refer to other names).

And all this Don't Worry Be Happy, Be Positive, Fly with the Geese stuff is bollox. It plays no part in my "Emotional Intelligence" inputs. Challenges have to be faced pragmatically, pretending everything is positive is exactly that.. Pretend.

Mind you, there are plenty that say EI is a load of fluff as well.

I was really happy when I could afford to give up the "blue sky thinking " and "thinking outside the box" to concentrate on walking around the streets under a blue sky (ocaisionally) and shoving stuff right in the box as a postie

Yeah I'm sure it's great but for those of us who can't afford early retirement, particularly those of us still working at 7.00pm, could you please stop mentioning it every week and rubbing it in?

Lol I'm sorry but us poor pensioners have find something cheap to do to pass the time

It’s doesnt take a lot for some football fans to nosedive into negativity even after (in our case) 16 months success. The always half-empties will shake their heads in disbelief at the always half-fulls and vice-versa. Neither really understand the other’s viewpoint and the rest just don’t understand either. That’s life guys.

Imagine the conflicts I have, love training but hate facile bollox.. It accounts for my CV looking like a patchwork quilt.

I always feel that as soon as one steps away from common sense thinking its a slippery slope. But common sense is a rare commodity in many organisational walks of life.

Are you a postie who wear shorts all year round?

That's exactly what tempted me to look for pastures new as soon as the opportunity arose.

I wasn' comfortable with what was being asked to do and every year I did well the targets for the next flew up.

I used to say to my staff that "the first time that you sell someone something they don't need will be the last time you sell them anything

Unfortunately the banks, and my bosses were so target driven and short term that they couldn't see the wood for the trees.

I used to love the job but I'm a relationship person and some of the things I was judged on were just pure madness.
