Another clueless idiot who hasn’t played the game.

Were you the centre half stopper that never came out of his own penalty area or the midfield spoiler who made sure no good football was played........by anybody

Wilder catchphrases ...
IT'S A GIVEN THAT MY PLAYERS WILL BE FITTER THAN THE OPPOSITION + RUN AROUND A LOT.
THAT'S A BASIC EXPECTATION.
PLAY ON THE FRONT FOOT.
GO TOE TO TOE WITH THE OPPOSITION.
TRY TO WIN GAMES OF FOOTBALL.
We look unfit , half arsed , disinterested.
Wilder even admitted in post match interview that some players were looking sorry for themselves and that is unacceptable.
Right Chris , you've signed new blood so make some changes.
Get some feckin zip into midfield.

I was saying this when I watched the match.

We haven’t gone “toe to toe” with anyone this season. Wolves we gave the game to in 10 mins, Villa we paid for a defensive/refereeing error. Leeds and Arsenal we conceded possession to and tried to play on the break.

Wilder seems to few sorry for himself with the decisions, it’s not going to change.

Man Utd got their inevitable penalty today, so Spurs brushed themselves off and smashed 6 past them. City battered Leeds for 20 mins, then Leeds woke up and deserved a point.

Villa are beating Liverpool, a team we capitulated against away and hung on against at home before conceding through a mistake.

We need to get playing it out from the back and doing what we are good at. If players play shit, drop them and play the new lads.

Totally understand frustrations and would love to think we could lose the shackles and go at it all ‘gung-ho’ but realistically CW knows if we do that we will get drubbed. Today could have been a walloping if not careful. He’s trying to hold it and get a scrap of good fortune at the other end.
In all matches our defensive shape has been spot on, the problem is no good fortune other end. Brewster will definitely improve us.

Could releasing the shackles be any worse than Blackwell-esque football, an average of 1 shot on target per game, and 7 straight defeats though?

Our defensive shape hasn't been that good though has it? We gave Wolves 2 goals, got caught flat against Villa and have gone to sleep from crosses against Leeds and Arsenal, we also allowed a £60m pound player to run from the halfway line and shoot without closing him down. That's not good defensive shape in my book.

The last several games tactically have reminded me more of Blackwell/Weir than Wilder is has been absolutely awful to watch for the majority of games.

Our confidence is very low players aren’t getting forward and are side ways passing which is usually the case when there’s a lot of negativity around, my worry as it was last season is that our possessional stat is always quite a way lower than the opposition but that said when we do get more possession we get countered like we did against Newcastle twice so we’re not good with domination football (I think I’ve created more questions than answers there)
