Negative football enough is enough

I'm not sure it makes a difference what formation we play or which players start. We simply haven't haven't got the players in the squad that score goals. Campbell got 10 last season, which is the most he's ever scored. Fine as a second striker, but we don't have another. Ings hasn't played or scored regularly for years. Gus and O'Hare may get 4/5 each and same for Burrows. That's your lot though, Peck, Matos, Soumare, Davies maybe a goal or two combined if you're lucky. Same from all centre backs. Seriki, Macallum and Ogbene maybe 3/4 combined at a push.

We don't have players that have scored enough goals in their careers previously to get anywhere near the amount of goals we need in a season. The only goal threats we have are Campbell, Gus and O'Hare and they're hardly proflic. 20 from those 3 in a season, is a good season. An in form Burrows and maybe you get 25 from those 4. Rest of the team offer no threat whatsoever and that's why we can't score goals. We don't have the players that can score goals in the team.

To survive, we're going to have to win enough games 1v0 or have 4/5 other players doubling their best ever scoring season. Neither of which are looking very likely. With the players we have and the goals they've scored historically, we've got about 30 goals in the squad if we're lucky.
That for me sums it up! We can't score.. end of and that's what will send us down!!

In the short term we could try Ogbene and Campbell up front as a pacy counter attack option. Maybe start Ings in home games for good hold up play alongside another. Maybe even try One as part of a pair until we can get a striker in at Christmas.
I doubt Wilder has the balls for any of that, it will be Campbell on his own with Gus and O hare behind, with Cannon coming on in the 60th minute until relegation is confirmed!!

Hes trying to justify Cannons signing! It will never happen Chris! You've dropped another expensive bollock!

They should have spent a bit more money and got hold of Dyche,he would not piss about and get nothing out of that squad. Even the Wilder clappers(who are probably out of date themselves) will be thinking “he will get it right “ Ala Rhian Brewster. I hope he does but it’s the same predictable shite being served up.

Really? Have you any evidence of this?
See 'West Ham latest sacking'.

Worst win rate of any modern West Ham Manager. Sat and waited til the compo from Chelsea ran out (it's well reported that his rejection of several offers of a return to management all coincidentally occurred within the window that Chelsea are required to pay him for).

If he had any real love for the game, he'd have jumped at the chance to prove everyone wrong and return, these were all PL offers too.

He also only averaged an overall 32% win rate at Brighton, with only 28% in the PL. Hurzeler's win rate is over 45%, De Zerbi's was around 38% - both marked improvements over Potter. It's my opinion, not fact, that he succeeded because of Brighton, not the other way round. He's been found out at Chelsea and West Ham

I like O’Hare and think he is one of our better performers this season, but I also think we need to be ruthless and scrap his position in the team altogether, we should go for a three across middle and two up top. This maybe unfortunate for O’Hare and possibly the wingers…But our current position dictates a need for radical change.
Cha .....ching...Been calling for 532 or 352 for weeks. What is the worst can happen? We lose? My only concern however do have 3 box to box midfielders? Peck, Davies (most of a game), Hamer. Probably the one 3. And if one gets hurt or subbed we fd. We're stuck with all these wingers but none of them are contributing on a regular basis. Or some not at all.

Would like to think these next 2 weeks they can fix the piss poor play, Peck exception on u21 duty.

Expect against Watford to be 1 up top, blah, blah, blah. The coaching brain trust need to get some new hair dryers and maybe a few arse rockets before mathematics take over and we're back to League 1. Season starts a new against the Hornets. Please.

'Strangers Assemble!' could easily be the Marvel film the players currently selected would be dedicated to the bunch
who wear the shirt but fail to offer anything constructive.

Recruitment has been dire, we've been slow to sign the quality that was obviously needed.
The fact that the type of players we're crying out for haven't been recruited is deeply worrying,
in fact it makes me wonder about the decision making that's involved in recruiting players.
By what standards are players signed, and when chosen does our management genuinely believe
these players are really equipped to impress?

They'll be after you mate... the Wilder fan club🤭

Yet we continue to play our best defender (Tanganga) out of position 🤷‍♂️
Yes granted, but he’s not a player struggling with his form. If Wilder played 3/5 at the back would take out or reposition

Yes, but you do realise I’m not the actual manager…None of this will come true.

Haha they cannot give him up,poor pining people. Seriously though,I really hope he turns it round and proves me wrong. The football was shite last season and he shows no improvement or ideas different from his last tenure. It’s lifeless and boring even in a terrible division. Anyway, don’t slate our Chrisseh,it’s not blade like.

In recent times we’ve done well playing three at the back and playing two up top, even if one was more withdrawn.

We’ve also had some experience in the team.

Back to basics. Mee, Davies and Ings as the spine and for the others around them.

I think we all hope he turns it round mate, if not we're in the shit! Big style 👍

In the last 2 games it's taken us untill the 60th/70th minutes before we're pushing teams back and really putting them under pressure ??
Until that point we break fast stop at the opposition 30yard mark then star tippy tapping the ball about making no head way THEN we loose possession or play it all the way back to Cooper fcking pointless.
I thought Copper looked better on sat ok it was Hull but understanding might be coming with the defence which would be a start.
Up front is not working with alone striker, which is why Campbells stats are shit and only managing 60 mins play time, I would put Ogbene,One or Ings up front with Campbell. backed up with 2 wingers either side to get early balls in or pulled back for AM(Davis)
