You’re kidding?

Why wait to scratch a point or two when we’ve played 4 pretty wank teams by comparison to the teams we were competing with last year.

First the Board need to take some humble pie and admit they know shit all and they should have not attempted to make changes before they had some better understanding of the Championship.

We are a parachute team. We can’t write off 6-8 matches as make the only achievement to be not going down.

This is now a Dyche or Wilder job.

I don't want to be part of a reactionary pile-on, I defended him strongly after Bristol.... but this is really bad.

It's not just the results, but the body language of the players too.
They don't look like they know what they're supposed to be doing, they look confused and they look totally unmotivated.

I think he'll be gone by the end of September if things haven't improved.
And sadly, that uncertainty is likely to have an impact on this transfer window too.

The owners are going to want this to work, so I think they'll give him every chance, but after Boro and Ipswich (look like nailed-on defeats), we've got Charlton and Oxford. If we're still winless after those, I think he's a goner.

As I've said elsewhere, playing Peck in centre mid on his own is just plain fucking stupid.

He tried it v Bristol and we couldnt get any foothold in the game, so his plan is to try it again? And guess what, we get no foot hold or control. Even when Millwall dropped intensity in the last 20 mins, we couldn't dominate midfield.

I don't know what this guy is thinking with that midfield setup???

i have to eat humble pie as well as i thought selles was a good appointment but sorry these players are just not playing for him why wait for 2 more inevitable defeats at boro and ipswich sack him tonight and get a manager in big enough and experienced enough for sheffield united

He’s getting sacked this season. It’s obvious, so why wait? just do it tonight.

Realistically its going to be five defeats in a row after the next 2 games. There is no sign of any improvement or the new system (whatever that is) gelling in any way.

Players look bewildered and Selles barking unintelligible orders at them from touchline is compounding matters.

Sometimes decisions taken with the best of intentions don't work - that's life. The true measure of character is making a swift decision to change direction and regain control of the situation.

That time came at 4:45pm today.

Sorry Reuben, we really hoped this would fly but its not working mate. No hard feelings and here's your contract paid up lad.

Second half showed a little promise.
The left in particular looked like a work in progress but there were some nice patterns and exchanges.
That’s the side with the most settled players that the manager has had time to coach.
The right in comparison was disjointed and struggled but looked better with Brooks but he isn’t going to be a starter.
Central defence is all over the place and Binnion is clearly really struggling next to Robinson. I’ve said several times that he’s here as a starter but I think he’ll be dropped for ‘boro. Peck is also struggling but he’s being asked to play a role he isn’t comfortable in.

With the expected players coming I’m not convinced the manager is a busted flush I genuinely think there are improvements to see and plugging the defence will help confidence to build. Any move to replace the manager with less than 15-20 games is just daft reactionary talk.

Sack him now, enough is is enough, this football, if you can call it that, is shocking.
