There's no issue of trusting the BBC here — the rumour comes from TeamTalk, as attributed.https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c0kprrdvr6ko
For as much as you can trust the BBC and website talk
“Tottenham Hotspur have made Everton'sSenegalese winger Iliman Ndiaye, 25, a prime target, but Newcastle United, Juventus, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid are also keeping tabs on the player. (TeamTalk)”

I definitely think he’s better staying below the ‘top’ level. To play for those teams you need to fit into a system. The best thing about Ndiaye is that he plays on instinct and with freedom. Look at Grealish at Man City as an example. I’d hate to see Iliman go the same way. He’s rich anyway so there’s no need to ruin his career to get richer.Could he do it in the tier above those sides?
Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona?
I'd love to see it, but I would like to see him at one of the clubs in the tier below first.
I suspect that might be his ceiling as a regular starter & contributor.
For sure, I could see him being swallowed up by City or Arsenal and becoming a Trossard / Doku / G.Jesus type but it'd be a bit of a shame...
I like seeing him as the main man. I think he thrives off that confidence and relationship with the fans.
He probably doesn't get quite enough goals / assists to do it at the very, very top and maybe some of his pass & receive game would fall short.
Be interested to hear others thoughts..

Lighting things up at somewhere like Newcastle would be good to see. Front foot, attacking football, large stadium, chance for some relative success.I definitely think he’s better staying below the ‘top’ level. To play for those teams you need to fit into a system. Based on what I've been reading about Bayern lately, he would fit in there, as they're not a system team in the same way as the others.I definitely think he’s better staying below the ‘top’ level. I could also see him doing well at Villa.Lighting things up at somewhere like Newcastle would be good to see. Front foot, attacking football, large stadium, chance for some relative success.
Whilst I agree, Villa can fuck off.I could also see him doing well at Villa.
