bb, get a grip, not a chance. Why would he stay in L1, leave for a club they beat in PO Semis and turn down double the wages in Championship?

He would certainly be miniature enough to fit well in our master plan of an " under 5 foot tall" midfield !!! I understand that Basham is having an operation soon to have his legs cut off at the knees
UTB & FTP

You need 6 big un, Adkins said after the match

he got em

Sammon
Bash
Edgar
Jay Mc
Collo
Howard

Thought NA said so himself in his post match interview
That's the interview(and the players) I'm referring to. Someone above said that our midfield is still too small, I just meant that Adkins has acknowledged it already and obviously likes playing 6 big lads at least.

Nathan Byrne would slot right into that right wing position ahead of scougs in the starting 11 today. However, we never seem to cherry pick the best of league one so probably not gonna happen

I took him to mean 6 or 7 outfielders. Keepers are usually 6 foot plus.

Woolford is no dwarf either.

So exciting to be linked with an average league one shitkicker

Wonder why we are stuck here year in year out

Only if it's a good deal, likely to make their team stronger in the long run... :)

According to Blade58's newsclip above, Swindon are left with £500K, so although a welcome sum, not exactly designed to shore up holes and strengthen meaningfully. We know how gutting it can feel to lose a highly regarded player pinchers, so I'll be curious to know how Swindon's supporters feel at the announcement of Byrne's move?

Apologies for any confusion. The sell on clause wasn't mentioned in the article. From this tweet:

Wolves get Byrne for 1m but Swindon receive just 500k cos of a crazy 50% sell on clause to Spurs!

Cheers 58, as you say, a crazy percentage and one that Swindon will regret with immediate effect. I can only assume that once an offer had been lodged, their bank manager will have been informed and nodded his head in approval. Good news for us and a few other clubs though, as it diminishes their threat. Interested to know what they might have in store to replace Byrne?
