This is kind of related to the sale of Naughton, and kind of not. The club state on the shop site that you shouldn't have a player's name printed on your shirt before the squad list is out, because they won't refund you if you do and the player leaves.
So do you have your shirt printed or not? I'm sure there are a few who regret the printing they've had done, whether it's a player who leaves or, for example, those who had Wembley and 09 done before the play-off final/surrender.

The only time I've had a current player was on the last white away shirt, I had Jagielka 6 on it. The only other player name and number I've had has been a succession of Currie 10's, and Tonyblade has had Agana 9 one at least one of his. I've had Shoreham 2 on the back of one, and Since 1889 on the back of last season's away shirt, but I'm highly unlikely to have any current player's name and number again.

So will you have a shirt printed this season, and what will you have on the back?

I haven't bought the United shirt for a couple of years now, because I don't tend to wear it that much.

If I did buy it though, I don't get a player's name or anything on. Too much chance of them being sold.

The only time I've ever had a name/number printed is the day our blue away kit, with diagonal stripe came out.

I was very tempted to have Flo on the back (nice and cheap as its only 3 letters :D), but instead went for Fox and the number 9.

I don't tend to wear blades shirts very often, in order to ensure I get in away pubs. Mainly wear them in the holidays at work or when playing footy. Still normally end up buying em though.

The last kit I had a name and number printed on was on the yellow away kit we had for the 07/08 season - I had Stephens with the number 7 printed on the back. Like I've said before, I was tempted to have Naughton on the back of this seasons kit, but I'm glad I chose not to. I think I'm going to have Stephens with the number 28 printed on the back this season :)

I'm with you on this one Foxy...

The only shirt i've had a name on was also the Blue with diagonal stripe with 'Hodges' 10 (I wish we had a player with the 'Odgy touch) on... although I went wanting 'Bradshaw' 17 but was a quid short.

More recently, although i'm 31 me dad bought me the Olympiakos home shirt for xmas with Smith 5 on the back (I used to be a short arsed centre half until the cruciate snapped). Class shirt, its 2 ply!

this is after having Brown and 7

I bought the recent-ish yellow one for my OH with that one the back - 'cos his name is Brown, and The Lord was his fave player, so he could get away with it (until some nincompoop stopped him and asked if we'd re-signed The Lord...)
