Doesn’t worry me in the slightest because he’s under contract and there’s no pressure to sell this season.
It should be viewed as a big positive if we receive big bids for our players…shows we’re doing things right.
We will only sell if we receive a crazy bid AND have even better replacements lined up.

So if he’s not here then it’s likely the replacement or replacements will mean we end up with an even better team, it’s a win/ win situation.

Good point and I agree.
N’Diaye was always a bit lightweight and like Mouset could only last 60 minutes.
However he has now massively improved his fitness and strength on the ball, he tends to win his 50/50 shoulder barges.
Most defenders at this level know the only way to stop him is to foul him.

I can see him going to a Leicester, Brighton, Southampton type club. Might not be a top tier club but it will still be for big big money. When they come knocking on January I hope we can persuade him to stay, if we don’t get promoted then he goes with our blessing at the end of the season.

He's better for us playing as a forward than midfield. Ndiaye and McB are our best 2 upfront options at the moment, imo.

Totally agree he's better as a forward but perhaps more in the Mcgoldrick mold where he can drop deeper ( not as deep as didzy did though!)

Works his bollocks off, is hard to knock off the ball, skillful while not too showy with it but actually effective and can score too.

He's essentially only been playing men's football for 13 or some months. Incredible.

Interest in him from PL clubs in Jan wouldn't be at all surprising but I would be surprised myself if we do sell him then. He'll have only been a first team regular for us for a season and a half if we let him go in a couple of months. He's better staying here for two full seasons rather than taking the leap too early to the PL, and if we've failed to gain promotion then he'll no doubt be going in the summer.

His contract is until 2024, so his value doesn’t start to decline until next season, by which time, if we don’t go up this time, he’ll be gone in the summer, latest.

My question is would he sign an extension next summer if we do go up?

I was all aboard the David Brooks hype train (not sure we can count him as our academy developed either), and still think he was one of the most exciting young players we’ve had in my time as a blade, but Ndiaye tops him.

Exactly mate gone are the days we sell on the cheap and if promotion doesn't happen this season we have very sellable assets that will keep us funded and able to hopefully pick the best of what we need to still compete at the top end of this division.
