My Thoughts

Sorry but Doyle, McNutts, Higdon and Wallace (although if he can do a sub four minute mile at the top of Everest I might, just might think he has a level of fitness that would then need ten rounds with Kel Brooks to prove he isn't a liability. sure he can play footie but crossing the car park seems too much) all need to see the door.
My sentiments to an extent, but we can't get rid of everyone. We would literally have to sign 15-20 players and turn them into a working team in time to hit the ground running in August. With your logic we would have 8 first team players left.

But I wouldn't object in principle to getting rid of any of those. Doyle is perhaps the most reliable. McNulty I can take or leave - he can finish but he doesn't look a promotion striker to me. We'd have to be incredibly sure of Wallace's fitness to label him a keep and Higgo would need to seriously change his fitness but I think it's too late for him. Only lack of players left on the books would keep them here.

That's just four out of the list of eleven that were given.

We need to be harsh and brutal with the cutting but as I said elsewhere Clough needs to have player B on his list if player A's deal can't be closed.

That's been his big problem this season.

If it is Clough Lord Bos, do you think he will change. He has shown that the only way is Nigels way and nothing on earth appears to shake him from that view. Clough would be a perfect fit at somewhere like Mansfield helping to stave off relegation every season, but at a club like ours, he is just not suited.

Crucial- time for a change . Too many management school boy mistakes IMO , which has cost us. There is no room or excuses for fundamental errors.

[QUdesway, post: 758476, member: 2509"]2 centre halves and a keeper and we are there. Clough needs to do that or he won't have a job come October. There's a decent team in there but it is utterly hamstrung by no foundation at the back.[/QUOTE]
And tactics
