I'd bin one of Westlake and McMahon if possible and have the other strictly as back-up subject to a new Right Back, perhaps Bagayoko from Tranmere. We definitely need pace and/or guile on the flanks and more options in the middle as Doyle and McDonald have been nigh undroppable all season.
I wish we'd gone for Alan Judge last summer as he looks unrealistic for us now. Mark Duffy, then? If it gave us the option to strengthen elsewhere, I wouldn't be too unhappy with Howard in goal behind a decent back four. Dependent on getting a fee for Long, of course. Similarly I'd sell Maguire and try and replace him for less if it meant we could upgrade the midfield and attack.
Most of this is of course highly unrealistic as I doubt the squad is going to have the major surgery we're all surely craving.
