Where to start? There are many. How does Leeds United away a few years ago, grab you? He did score in that game. Pretty decent goal too, even by his own admission, he slide-tackled it in.

Better to measure him by what he does to prevent a loss, however, or even reduce that loss by his boundless energy, credible footballing acumen, positional adaptability and very notable ability to do the right thing when compared with his team mates.

When we beat Leeds away ! Some 3/4 years ago now but Bash's goal, after we absorbed a load of Leeds attacks, was superb. He ran about 50 yds to strike it home. Raised the roof in our house I can tell you.

I’m not slagging Basham ,I like him and every team needs someone like him .I love a trier like we all do (Monty)but if he’s the main man in a game for his gerrin stuck in then the rest of these professionals av been crap
