Can't imagine there'll be many Blades who disagree with the OP.

Promotion would, of course, be fantastic. As has been said many times on here, are those who consider promotion getting above themselves? Personally I think it's ok to dream, but whatever happens we've had a great season, and if promotion comes then it would surpass almost anything any of us can imagine. Of course, wendy to spend many millions and still finish mid table while we manage to achieve 'miracles' on a relative shoestring. Even if we're relegated we'd still return to the Championship with over £100 million, so our position would resemble Burnley's as they've yo-yo'd between the Championship and the Prem, each time strengthening in order to give themselves a chance of instant promotion. Not a bad strategy in my view.

I win the lottery, I buy the pigs from a disillusioned owner after they are Relegated, I then put them out of business and sell the site to tesco where they will always be remembered through the blue and white stripped bags, just to show I have a heart.

Going up automatic. Anything else is a bonus!

Give it to Tesco as long as they agree to use red and white stripped bags for the Swillsboro' branch.

Just one slight difference, I'd give the pigs back to the Co-op bank , saying 'I think this belongs to you ?'.

If we were to go up this season I really hope that with all the Prem money we'd get, rather than waste loads of it on foreign football mercenaries who give f*** all about SUFC, instead we go to town on the ground and make it in to a palace.

I'd love to see us bury the play off hoodoo with a resounding win over the pigs (or anyone )Don't think if live to see it though as the anxiety of the build up would probably be the end of me

Of course I'd prefer to go straight up but after all the disappointments I'd love to see us finally win like that

Had to make the long journey home after watching other fans celebrating and I think it could really change the mentality of the support

Winning a trophy would be nice as well and finally shut those snorters over in South Barnsley up

Blades up. Piggies down. Happy days. End of story. Edit. Wilder given a knighthood and the freedom of the city and a year's supply of peroni. Utb

The Blades to go up
Pigs to stay here or go down
The fear we've had for two years of the pigs going up in there play off
debacles / bottling it / funny as fuck penalty misses , and having all that money
Us to have the £150 million to spend ,
How much would the dolphin killer , lady boy have to put up prices to match us then !

Last second controversial penalty winner by billy against the truffle sniffers after coming back from 2-0 down

Blades champions.
Everton relegated. Whoever suggested this earlier, it's in my head now, don't care about wednesday they can be second it means that little, or l**ds, or Warnock, or west ham I want to see the justice that those perennial strugglers take their rightful place in the 2nd tier.

It could be huge for the club if we were to go up and as I think @handsworth blade alluded to I think we should take the chance to enhance the stadium and get capacity up

Our last Stint in the prem was a real chance to put the pigs out of existence (this was the general consensus on porktalk at the time )but we didn't take it and we shoulf make sure we do next time a Burnley style progression with a bigger stadium and an ever increasing support could change the entire outlook of the club and maybe even have us challenging for trophys

I'm getting carried away now arent I ?

I know it sounds daft with us playing so well and being in contention for an automatic promotion spot, but I would absolutely love us to win the play-off final. With all that negative history we've suffered over the years, it'd be such a relief to put that to bed. I think Wilder's the man to do it. A sunny day in May at Wembley, we tonk someone like Villa or Bristol 3-0 and lap up the glory and finally know what it's like to win the play-off final. Then we can all catch the tube into central London and booze it up. 2 day bender 'cos it's bank holiday weekend in't it.

Perfect finish sees us going up auto & pigs get stuffed in Play Off final.
If I can’t have that Santa, I’d settle for a place in the Play Offs (which we win) with pigs finishing 7th on goal difference as a result of a particularly heavy defeat in January.
I’ve been a good boy this year and will eat all my greens.

Win FA cup, with the final remembered for generations as the 'David Brooks final'. (hat-trick, 10 megs')

Having completed the Championship title and FA Cup double on May 19th (beating a relegated West Ham in the final), Cardiff then beat Wednesday in the play off final a week later with a 95th minute winner from Halford.

"Blades decapitate Owls in £200 million Play Off Final"

That's the headline we all want to see isn't it! I'd rather go up this way than Automatic but its probably too good to be true that both teams would meet for this game.

But a serious question if we were to meet in the P/O Final:

Wilder vs Carlos - which manager would come out on top?

It's a rhetorical question, I think we all know who would come out on top even including the deluded Piggies.

But they don't wear blue n white stripes??, your confusing them with Uddersfield bud.....
