Looks like we may be seeing some more of the youngsters then.

Either that or more of Porter, Williams and a recalled Cresswell than we thought we might see. All dependent on how suspensions and injuries pile up, of course.

McMahon and McDonald have to navigate 5 more games without a booking. And Harry now needs to avoid 3 bookings in 5.

OK, all we can do is get behind them.

We could cope without Harry and McMahon for a game and switching Robson inside for KMac wouldn't be a huge loss but it's the creativity and lack of attacking threat that will most likely cost us if anything does.
 
New players need two or three games to settle in.

We can't afford that luxury. Surely our squad is big enough to cope, barring a catastrophic run of injuries.

I hate to use them as an example, but Antonio was outstanding from the start for the pigs last season and was essentially the reason they went up.

I'd love a player like that at this stage. I see Balanta has gone to Yeovil - he wouldn't have been a bad option.
 
The main worry for me is the lack of activity in the`in`door at bramall lane.
We have to go up this term,its worth loosening the purse strings for a months loan of a quality player surely.
 
Shocking decision. Why is DW and the board in denial?! We have struggled at home all season. We lack creativity to break down teams who park the bus. So, why do the powers believe this will change for the remainder of the season. So close to getting promoted, why on earth don't they recognise the problem and do something about it. Really stupid & short-sighted

Our gates dwarf everyone in this division yet - unlike such footballing giants as Yeovil - we can't bring a couple of decent loans in when it's obvious we are crying out for them. Our Board continue to prove they are fkin useless.

Correct and no change there then. Seems like all decisions/non-decisions are made by McCabe (of the Kevin variety) with the other "directors" acting merely as a bunch of "yes" men with no role in strategic or short term decision making. Unfortunately, the examples of poor decisions made by McCabe grow at a worrying rate. Until we get new leadership this club is going nowhere.

Just shows the man doesn't understand the product. And we wonder why we never win owt.
 
And there you have it guys, McCabe and his yes men would rather we stayed in this division for the sake of bringing one or two quality loans. Is Forte fit ? if not send him back to Southampton that is one wage freed up and let Cresswell stay at York that should surely be enough to enable us to bring in a couple of players for the run in. You all laugh when a certain poster trots out the same old line but he's reyt................................... same owd no ambition
 



I didn't expect us to bring anyone in and am not particularly fussed we haven't. We have no major injury concerns. Murphy is not seriously injured and we have lost one game in seven I think. We're going to bum tranmere. ... hard.

In what way is DW in denial? He has not said we don't need anyone. Like the rest of us he may beleive we need to bring a couple of players in but his boss has told him he can't.

For me,this is nothing to do with DW

True, but 2 points from 9 put a different slant on it. And you can dress it up however you want, we're far from a good side. We're in a lottery with 6 or so. We're no better or worse but we have the unenviable record of being nailed on bridesmaids if we don't make an auto spot.

It's only a third of the money we received for Blackman.
Besides we don't need to pay a fee for a loan player,just the wages for 2 months.
I don't believe that we can't afford that much and I don't believe the FFP rules won't allow it.

ONE LOSS CANT BE USED TO SAY WEVE SLUMPED, ALL THE TOP 6 HAVE LOST IN THEIR LAST 8
tranmeres lost 4 and bournemouth 5 of their last 8 , but I bet their fans are far more positive than ours
