played like a Sheffield United side, looked like a Sheffield United side, Pushed men forward, Flynn had one of his games which make you wonder why he can't play like that every week.

Now we need to do it again Saturday to prove it wasn't a one off..

Then the real run in starts

Enjoyed that.

Although in a perverse way it would have been nice if Scunthorpe had offered anything at all by way of resistance.

Was for the most part training ground stuff. But good training ground stuff.

Passing was noticeably crisper tonight with balls pinged in to feet at pace. Made a world of difference IMHO.

Well done fellas.

Onwards.

not going overboard , but crewe saturday yeovil etc are teams we will profit from , weve had some tough games and are getting the cannon fodder games now , thats why I was confident we will saunter into the play offs

24 Points left to play for I think.

Come on you Blades.

I want to see us play with arrogance and swagger. We should be turning these sides over with ease like tonight, not because we're massive or have 19500 for a midweek game, but because we have a squad of players and a manager who are capable of plying their trade in the championship. pressurise these teams for a sustained period and they will crumble just like our first season under Wilson.

Yep, well done Clough and the team.

Let's get that play off place in the bag as soon as, and have as many games as possible where we really go for it.

We've shown, late on in many games for most of the season, that not many teams can handle us when we do it, so lets just fucking do it! :)

Great result against one of our supposedly bogey sides.

Well done to the boys and Cloughy tonight and great support too lads and lasses.

Agree with all of that. The best I have seen them play [collectively] since Bristol.

For me Flynn was the star act tonight but others had very good games including Baxter and Basham.

A better performance from the two full backs too.

Great result - well done to all.

We now need to keep it at that level and that momentum into the play offs.

Really enjoyed the game and the whole performance. Agree Flynn was superb, Steve Davies did well again with not the best service , murphy did well ... And Baxter had one of his best all round games for ages.

Only down side for me was Ian Turner - ok we kept a clean sheet so can't complain but he looks nervous and unsure - hopefully if Howard is going to miss any more games Turner can settle down a bit.
Well done all players and management tonight

This is going to be an anialation of a Sunday league club, total domination, a goal frenzy, Howard might even bag a couple. Come on NN you verses a manager that their fans want sacking for playing negative relegation form footy.

Told me so :):):)

If Howard is in and out for the rest of the season I seriously hope clough brings In a loan... Is the window still open?

I was worrying about Turner...then I saw how dodgy their keeper was, and figured both teams were closely matched in that department and the game would be won and lost elsewhere.

:)

They were very poor, yes. We still had to go out and beat them though, something we've struggled with at times this season. There were some excellent performances out there today, admittedly against minimal resistance.

Nice to see that we didn't hang on for 1-0 could do with a few more like that to get confidence up for the play off's, surely we can't miss out on a top 6 spot now ?
