Mousset

Rather than post stupid photos, the best way to prove his point would be to get in good shape, force his way into the team, last more than 45 mins and score goals.

There's as much chance of me doing that at 47 and with knees made of biscuit

He still hasn't finished 90 minutes in England. It's laughable he's got the cheek to say absolutely anything about fitness. Just shut up and get your head down.

On the plus side if we start him and factor in the we have to take him off after 60-70, it means Brewster might get to stay on for the full 90. He'd be better impact sub in place of Brewster than McGoldrick ambling around on his zimmer frame too.

Not sure how anyone can stick up for McBurnie more than Moose, he cost more, contibuted less and somehow is available for selection almost as rarely as Moose is.
I tend to agree.

I've loved watching Didzy. He's been a joy. But he seems to be less and less effective when I've seen him. Great cameo vs Stoke but then again so was Mousset.

Whilst he did score a good goal at Arsenal last season, would he do it this season, because Mousset pinged one in vs Barnsley that few of the others have shown they could do.

Plus if you exclude Mousse from the marchday squad the next thing we'll hear is that he's fitter now but he needs games, which is counterproductive when we are effectively denying him match practice.

Let's be fair, he's down the gym more now by the looks of it, making a point of it and we are playing a guy who's a winger up front in the U23s. Why not let him play today? Tell him to prove his conditioning by putting in 90 mins in that game. I don't see how no football helps him, unless we have a deal for him and don't want him injured.

It's not just Mousset and his fitness, Ndiaye has very rarely done the full 90, likewise Brewster albeit just back in the team after an injury, same applies to McB, if you then add in Billy & Didsy, you have more or less decided or been forced to decide on who us going to be subbed, before the game has kicked off

I would guess that Mousset has been kept clear of the matchday squad so as not to pickup another injury that would have an impact on an outgoing transfer by the end of January which is the last time we can recoup anything before his contract runs out in the summer. Mid-bottom half Ligue 1 or Turkey his likely destination, failing that Saudi.

Could be this, and if nothing is sorted he'll probably be played after the window closes.

It's suggesting in the press he might start this weekend. So for those watching, make sure you don't miss the first half or you might not see him!

Got the assist in they’re unexpected draw with Milan last week.

Got booked last nite and subd at 60mins...still can't play full game ffs
To be fair, Inter away, top v bottom. I wouldn't expect much else.

I see Ampadu is in there, helping to relegate another team!

Real waste of wages he was. I think Wilder was enticed by the idea of Ampadu rather than the actual player. In the end, coup it was not!

Eddie Howe wasn’t daft, was he ?

Fucking Wilder was though.

Fat cunt hasn't done a single ninety minutes in his career.

Think back to Barnsley last year when that second goal of his went in. Think how we felt when we thought 'Lys is BACK!'

Think how we wrung ourselves dry in angst when he smashed his Lambo up because his mate had died. Think of all the self-hugging we endured when he sat in the Copthorne bingeing on kebabs and pop.

Ten fucking million on a fucking benchwarmer and a straphanger.

pommpey

Three things are true: Mousset was, in the end, a complete failure at the Lane but he did repay the majority of his transfer fee and that fee, incidentally, was nowhere near £10m. Maybe £6m.

£10m came from the same source in the Bournemouth camp which proudly proclaimed we'd spent £18.5m on Ramsdale when the reality was less than £12.5m.

We have never been good at buying an expensive striker to score goals McBurnie although showing his true potential now has taken the best part of 4 seasons and Brewster could end up being the biggest flop since John Ebrell albeit he was a midfielder, I wish I knew the answer we could have Mbappe and he’d be a shot shy!

All depends on the add ons ie staying up (which we did) appearances and goals ha ha. Ramsdale lost Bournemouth their staying up money in the first 3rd of that season.

I'm still thinking about the bad news 😉

Managed to grow a beard though. Prob why he cant complete 90 mins too tired from doing that. Good place to hide the Big Mac crumbs.

I have a lot of sympathy for Mousset.
He clearly doesn't have a great support network around him outside of football, be it friends or family.
Quite clearly didn't have the discipline or maturity to move abroad by himself, as young as he did.

As others have said, a huge talent. In terms of potential, probably the best we've had (Ndiaye & Jack O'Connell are the others in that conversation, for me).
This time, three years ago I thought he was going to be a £50-60m sell off the following Summer. He looked like he had everything.
He seemed really popular amongst the lads in the squad, seemed to always be smiling and joking around (though, clearly to his detriment).
I don't get the joy out of his demise that others seemingly do. I hope he turns things around. I doubt he will though.
Massive shame.
