Not sure about Jose these days.

I've liked him for some of the reasons mentioned on this thread but a different side came out when things started going south for him.

I'm also sceptical about that move with Wilder last night during the interview. Bit too much for show for me. Wilder would never do that.

Klopp's interview on the pitch after the game last night showed he's another who loses his 'class' when things don't go his way.

Always has been and always will be about Jose.

Skills don't match the ego anymore.

He is a great character, mardy yes but show me a winner who isn't. Has been fantastic for the game & certainly was special for a period where his teams dominated leagues, I hope he can manage a team to the top again instead of just fading away. Most definitely a class act.

A class act wouldn’t interrupt a peer’s media work. It’s a reflection of his sense of importance and an assertion of his power, even in defeat.

He needs to go to a club without the "superstars". A but like us, where he can get a collective group together and fight against the world like his Porto side. Like going to Aberdeen and ousting the Glasgow teams.

I wouldn't argue with Wilder's assertion that he's a class act. His team loses 3-1, with a hugely debatable disallowed goal thrown in and he still accepted Wilder's standing invitation for a drink with the backroom staff after the game. Wilder has already said there are quite a number who don't (which is their prerogative).

I felt there is a lot of mutual respect.

I liked his comments about the Blades fans when he came to the the Lane with Chelsea. We were singing "fuck off Mourinho". He said something like these places are the soul of English football.

"Places like this are the soul of English football. The crowd is magnificent, saying '**** off Mourinho' and so on.
Mourinho revels in the abuse he received from Blades fans at Bramall Lane in 2006/7.

As a manager he'll go down in history as one of the all time greats, but at this point in his career he's clearly a busted flush. He's taken a troubled Spurs team and made them worse and you can already see the kind of toxic atmosphere settling over them that he created at Chelsea the second time around and Man Utd.

He's very old school'English' really, perhaps that's the Sir Bobby Robson impact on him when he was coming through the ranks.
There's a lot of Brian Clough about him to, he views the media and the way that football in this country has evolved in the same way....Like Clough, he hates it.

I think he's an exceptionally intelligent manager, who constantly realises that his meltdowns and arrogant displays completely take the pressure of his players.
Having the home crowd chanting '**** off Mourinho' is a great way to stop the fans backing their own team, or getting on the backs of the opposition

People saying he's 'past it' is perhaps a little extreme.
Pep is regarded as the best in the World, but he's failed to win Leagues with the best squad in the league he's performing in (Just look at this season). He also took Bayern Munich, the best team in Europe, and undoubtedly made them worse on the pitch, because of his arrogance to play a specific style.

Mourinho is always at unfancied clubs.
Chelsea had no success before he arrived, Inter were no different to what they are today, Real Madrid were trying to break the Barcelona/Pep dominance.
He's the still the most successful Manchester United manager since Fergie left.
