Mourinho has always been 'anti-establishment'.
You see it all the time, picking apart pundits like he did with the drunk Merson.
He gets hated because he doesn't rim the establishment.

Pep gets hailed a god because he won a few trophies at the 3 richest clubs in their respective leagues.
Mourinho in the Champions League at Porto and Inter was superb. Two of the biggest upsets in the history of the competition.

I think he's past his best, the game and the market has left him behind a bit and he appears to resent having to prove himself anymore, I think his hunger has gone.

Also agree with him on that S64 .. it’s kop out for refs now they can. Now say out of my hands decision made by black ops team located somewhere in a secret bunker don’t blame me ..I think I’ve only seen it once this season where a refs gone up to the pitch side monitor to make his own call on it

I've always liked Mourinho and always will. Yeah he's a mardy shithouse but he usually tells it like it is. What he did with Porto and Inter were amazing achievements, and his Chelsea team were like us last night, effective and did that they needed to do to win. He's past it now because his systems demand complete obedience from his players and a cult of personality around Mourinho. Again, sort of like ours. He'll criticise them when they deserve it much like Wilder, but his recent teams that he hasn't built are now full of players who won't take that, and stop trying/never played for him. Harry Kane, Son, Lingaard, etc aren't prepared going to spend half a match being defensive midfielders and wingbacks, like Eto'o and Drogba were.

The game's moved on, but 2003-2015 he was one of the best, if not the best manager in the world.

I've liked him for some of the reasons mentioned on this thread but a different side came out when things started going south for him.

I'm also sceptical about that move with Wilder last night during the interview. Bit too much for show for me. Wilder would never do that.

Klopp's interview on the pitch after the game last night showed he's another who loses his 'class' when things don't go his way.
