As a slight aside, and not worth it's own thread, but young Brooks got MOM in the Sky studio today.

Just a few forum comments at Wet Sham today:

Still playing with the fearlessness of youthful exuberence. Long may it continue, he has made a fantastic start in the Prem.

Another excellent performance from the youngster. Love his awareness,gets stuck in.
Does not look out of place in this league.

Just watched the highlights on Sky App. He looked really really good.

He wasn't MOTM. That was Fleck.

Egan and Henderson also excellent. Clarke impressive too although the experts will insist how 'lazy' he was.

As for Brooks, I'm not one bit surprised and it's infuriating. There's no reason at all he couldn't have been in our team now. He's a much better player than Woodburn, who Wilder strangely seems more inclined to play.

Norwood was man of the match, I heard Gary Sinclair announce it over the PA system.

Forgot to mention Leonard, he was excellent when he came on. Used the ball really well and was energetic - he's a great athlete. A big improvement on Woodburn whose absence we didn't feel in the slightest. Good substitution that was.

Being in the “dog shit league” for so long. I think we’d forgotten what a quality player looked like. Norwood stands out like a giant.
Players like this set the standard for the other players to follow. It will be good for Coutts that he now doesn’t have the weight of expectation on his shoulders and also doesn’t have to rush his return back to the first.

What i liked about Norwood was he played possitive, he always looked to find a ball forward, a few wayward passing is expected I guess, just glad he doesn't look for the sideways and backwards pass all the time.
My motm was Basham, I'm not his biggest fan but yesterday he showed his vaule, and shockingly wasn't even an option for the motm voting.
Hendersons save was outstanding, I thought here we go again 2-1 down.... moan moan hahaha.

Really, really wish we'd stop doing the MOTM vote during the game. It's embarrassing. It's also a needless distraction at a pivotal time in the game. To top it off you can't even vote for your choice half the time because there's only 4 options I believe - inevitably including any goalscorers.

This takes so much pressure off Coutts. He’ll now be able to work his way back into the side without the clamour to just throw him in and expect fireworks. What a great signing by Wilder

Norwood-Coutts-Fleck, it's like waiting for Christmas dinner, your enjoying the build up to it, and then it arrives, you feast until you wanna burst, then the pudding comes and it's gets better!!
I can see that midfield being one of, if not, the best in the league, I just hope Couttsy comes back firing on all cylinders.

Though Leonard was excellent when came. Love it when Fleck plays further forward. Can open defences with his little passes and close control.
