MOTM choices

There are times when the MOTM choice is indisputable, eg Billy’s hat-trick, but others where I find myself saying ‘really?’. I rarely get a data signal inside the ground, so it may be that the numbers voting are low but, as a test, who would you have nominated as MOTM last night?

I’d have given it Fleck, closely followed by McGoldrick.

Surprised Duffy got MOTM as I think because of how deep they sat he couldn't really create enough.

Won the pen, probably came closest (McG apart) to scoring. I can understand why (Norwood was mine, Stevens good too)

McGoldrick ran the show,we played like an orchestra without a conductor when he was subbed,knackered or not
he should have stayed on.

I was also struggling to pick one player out. But watched the first half on Sky just now and Duffy was everywhere, involved in every move, floating left and right, direct runs into the box, absolutely running the show.

Agreed but not the same 2nd half.

Good decision making (excellent placement of towel & water bottle behind the goal)
Quality handling (waving to the crowd at the end of the match)
Nice movement (kept himself busy by doing warm up exercises throughout)
Distribution also great (handed out the half time oranges without dropping any)

I’d say McGoldrick, but obviously a missed penalty goes against him but his reaction to that miss was quality. Norwood was excellent, in particular closing down Reach a couple of times. Fleck was good also. I don’t know how Duffy got it personally

No, I think McG and Fleck edged it second half, but overall I’d say Duffers was the MOTM
