Yes I know we've got injuries left right and center but... The end is in sight, 8 games remaining and real chance of playoff position and after a 2 week break.

Players should be buzzing and chomping at the bit, instead we're pretty much giving zero effort, standing still when on the ball and off it.

No excuse for what we just witnessed even with injuries.

The players are playing for their futures most of them know they are not good enough and would be out of the door should we win promotion. A top half finish and a go at the play off's is the limit of their ambitions. Too many happy to play at the level we are at we only have around three players who might make a living in the Premier League it is that simple. We need to clear the lot out for next season get some hungry players in and back them up with our young lads.

It was hardly hell for leather kitchen sink stuff was it?

Their goal was lucky with the deflection mind.

First half was at least a little encouraging then it all went a bit Derby away.

I don't get how we managed to be without McBurnie. It's just been a break, how is he getting injured?

All those that came back from internationals, Egan, Berge, they were off it. Next time they get called up for meaningless friendlies we should just tell them to fuck off they're injured. A cap against Armenia and Lithuania. What the fuck? Could they not have sat these wastes of time out and had more time with their club or resting up?

This is such a wrongheaded take I don't know where to start.

OK, I'll start here. They all get a big payrise if we get promoted. And a nice bonus as well.

Why do they play themselves out of a job? They all get a huge (25-50%) payrise and they can play Fifa with Raheem Sterling.

If we get up they all get a payrise. We haven't got money so we're hardly likely to replace all of them.

Players out of contract will get another one

Absolutely zero logic.

Yeah have to agree. Losing is one thing, as is coping with injuries, especially up front, but the approach and endeavour all over the pitch was alarming imho.

Considering the importance of the game and the ability and experience of many playing, it was a shocker.

So disappointing- not scoring but deficiencies highlighted

Wes= OK
Baldock= Can't cross
RND= Can't cross
Davies= 1 paced slow
Egan= OK
Robinson= He doesn't know what he's doing
Fleck= Not involved
Norwood= Not involved
Berge= Not involved
MGW=OK
Jebbo= Looked lost

So half the team and the whole midfield were lackluster, no wonder we lost to a crap Stoke team.

Tuesday it'll be a different story but today self motivation was completely missing- oh for a midfielder that properly gets a game by scruff of the neck.

I hope that the players got the "You've got to Fin die to get 3 points." lecture from the manager. Those losses to weak sides we should not be losing to Millwall,Coventry,Stoke has cost us.
