Ah, the Mallens.

You just don't get hair like that anymore.

I think it was something in Findus crispy pancakes, black forest gateau and Mateus that turned hair into a sort of ornamental fur hedge.

Arctic roll.

If Billy was ever going to be a serious prospect for Leeds, it would have occurred to them long before now. Biesla wasn't sat at home last night watching Motd and suddenly spitting his Horlicks all over the TV reaching for the phone because Danny Murphy gave him this burning recommendation. People need to chill.

Anyone ever heard where John Helm disappeared to, one moment he was on telly every time you turned it on then he just disappeared. Just like Larry the Lamb when I was a kid!

I don’t think people are annoyed that motd is somehow willing the move to take place, but more so that it’s shoddy journalism. You had a series of weeks talking this up as a possibility with Wilder on several occasions making it clear that he doesn’t want Sharp to go, Sharp doesn’t want to go, and last week Wilder reiterated that nobody’s going anywhere this window. That would have taken about 5 seconds to google. A pity really because it seemed like they needed to use that as an excuse to focus on Sharp’s performance rather than simply because he had a really good game.

On the other hand, the football world has a habbit of saying one thing and then a few days later doing the exact opposite. We're not completely innocent of that.

I usually rate Gabby so it was disappointing to here the speculation saying Murphy had "done the deal".
One day the Biased Broadcasting Cockwombles might represent the facts rather than manipulative rhetoric designed to stir debate.
Ironic perhaps that it arguably works because we air it here and no doubt some fans will swallow it bless em.
Wonder if Murphy were not a Leeds lover it would even have been mentioned 🤔
Lots I am sure would love Billy in their side but we need no more proof yet again with his performance yesterday that he is exactly where he belongs.
So let's all relax and ignore the Jackanory fantasy of TV. UTB.
Yep, I’ve just watched it back and much as I was pleased to see Billy getting some praise, it did seem like a blatant attempt to start the ball rolling with the Dirties. ‘He could become a big part of their history’ ffs. Stuff em, let them have Clark if they want a new striker, he could do a job.

Billy’s already been a massive part of our club’s history and if he continues to play like he has done in the last 2 games I think there’s more to come from him and it’d be a mistake to let him go at this stage. He’s obviously still very fit well up for it and like throughout his career, he could just be one goal away from going on a scoring run.

The 'story' could have been better expressed. The old news is that Billy has been given to understand that he can move if he wants, the 'news' was that he demonstrated v Millwall that he is still really good against Championship defences. It would be strange if no Championship clubs were interested.

Wow the memories with all those names from the past. Dickie Davies, Keith Macklin....etc
