I don't know how to quantify this but, given our long history, and our movement up and down the leagues, we must be a contender for having played the most different teams.

I doubt we'd even be in the top 10.

We've spent over 50% of our history in the same league.

Just in recent(ish) memory, Wolves, Fulham, Portsmouth, Oxford and Swansea have been in all 4 divisions, but I'm sure Darren will be along any moment with the answer

But not that many have done all four.

It's a blessing though - it's allowed me to follow us to over 92 football league grounds :)

In my life time all except Grimsby (last D1 1948), Brentford (1947), Orient (1963), Bury (1920's), Preston (1961), Bradford PA (1915) and Coventry (last D4 1959)

Actually, scrub Brentford as I don't think they have been in D4. So 23 in my life time.

Actually Brentford have been in the 4th, as have Oldham, so the list is 31 and 23 in my life time.

You forgot Northampton! In 4th division in 1961 and 1st division in 1965 before returning to the 4th in 1969

you have to take into account teams like wimbledon , who came from the southern league played 60/70 different non league clubs before becoming a league club and playing through all 92 there
Wigan started in the Northe West Counties
and Fleetwood next season will be their 6th different assortment of 23 opponents in a decade around 140 , maybe played 6/8 who went up with them more than once

Well done! So that's 32 - you would not have thought it was so high,

Bolton were in the fourth division in 1987-8 season.

Millwall were in the fourth in 1964-5 and in the first division for two seasons from 1988-90.

35 and climbing!
