I keep hearing of this Scunthorpe game (I wasn't there), and am fascinated to watch highlights of it! I realise it's probably a long shot, but if anyone knows of any..

For the Fulham game, it may have been when they were managed by Jean Tigana? Seem to remember they were a very good side at that point

Thanks Tom, you probably right, I had got it into my head it was Coleman.

About 70% of Sheffield derbies in the past 20 years.

Blades vs Rotherham last season stands out as well. Vaulks got sent off for the millers but the two sides looked worlds apart.

On the flip side we once beat Huddersfield 5 - 1 at the lane and they were they better side throughout.

A great choice. One of the oddest games I've ever seen:

first 5 minutes: penalty to Huddersfield - Craig Maskell puts it wide
late in first half - United take the lead in an even contest when Huddersfield handle in the box. 1-0 thanks to Duffield
just after half time - Duffield scores wonder strike from 25 yards after breaking from our half - 2-0
48-75 minutes - Huddersfield lay siege to United's goal and manage to pull one back - 2-1
about 75 minutes - in a rare foray upfield for United, Andy May scores a daft own goal - 3-1
80-90 minutes - Huddersfield run out of steam, and Bryson and Deano add late goals - 5-1

5-1 to us and Huddersfield were the better team.

Fulham at home not many seasons ago, Coleman was managing them. I honestly don't think we touched the ball for the first 15/20 minutes but didn't we end up somehow drawing the game.

This one I reckon, 1-1 draw in November 2000: https://www.11v11.com/matches/sheffield-united-v-fulham-21-november-2000-3091/

They kicked off and I think the first time we touched the ball was when we kicked off after their 4th minute goal! That was an amazing team, won the league with 101 points.
