I was going to start a thread but did a search 1st. 2 of the 3 i was going to mention 3 players, 2 of which were mentioned on the 1st page - Muscat and Taricco. The 3rd is James Scowcroft...

Edit, 4th - Jermaine Johnson

All the mentions of Ainsworth has reminded me of Whitehouse....I remember working out a while back that he could have still been playing for us as late as when we were in the Premiership with Warnock. He'd have been turned 36 that season so it's not totally unreasonable. I found that really crazy as it's always felt like he was from another era completely. He could have feasibly played alongside Sharp ffs.

He would certainly have been around for the 02/03 season.

Paul McVeigh.

Not as loathesome as Ainsworth - but one that stands out as worthy of a slap.

I remember him body checking Paddy after Paddy had played the ball wide. Paddy saw it coming and dropped his shoulder - McVeigh bounced off him and rolled round the box like he'd been shot. Paddy should have stood on his throat.
A nasty, niggly side who tried to out-muscle us - failed - and turned mardy. Never had any time for Norwich since.

Much the same for me, yet when they had that run in Europe they must have been everyone's secret second team !?!?

Not respected, not a player who you'd give a back-handed compliment to.
A player who, when playing for an opponent, no matter who, you totally despise.

And Managers too.

I'll give it one post before the one name I have written down is mentioned.
Robbie Savage
Jack Grealish.
Strachan.
Bremner.

Aisnworth universally hated by most Blades fans and rightly so number one hated.

Personally I hate Steven Gerrard the next for his "trip" at Bramall Lane in the 1st match of season when the cunt ref Rob stiles (my 3rd most hated person in football) gave a pen for "intent to foul" !!!!!

Then in the return at anfield the bastard Gerrard dived twice to get pens and the ref fell for it !!

Not starting a new thread...

Time to include referees, football commentators, journalists, visiting supporters to BDTBL and home supporters/grounds when we're Awayday Blades...

Proceed.
Can only be one ref ...... the infamous twat Rob Stiles giving the penalty for Liverpool when Morgs didnt even touch him and saying the "Sheffield player" intended to foul Steven !!!

Has to be Ainsworth. Never acknowledged what he'd done or apologised, which for me proves it wasn't accidental. Didn't Danes dad get on their team coach after the game to sort him out?

I honestly think if a few Blades hadve got to know his whereabouts at the time he would have been hospitalised.

Despicable twat who thought he was some kind of hard man. Billy Whitehirst would've pulped him, now he was hard.

No place in football for his type any more.

Ainsworth
Madine
Hans Segers
Stephen CHunt
JP Angel
Andy Johnson (WBA)
Bywater
Gerrard
Ashley Cole
Darius Henderson (Watford days)
Grealish

Ref wise....
1 The biggest anti Blade official ever Chris Foy
2 Martin Bodenham
3 Darren Bond (Swindon playoff semi home)...reffed us since without any bias but that night he was a disgrace.

Graham Poll (is an Arsenal fan)
Mike Dean - not got the bottle to ref a Sheffield derby.

Without realising that Ainsworth was travelling home on his own rather than being in the Port Vale coach, Dane's dad, Sid, got into the coach looking for Ainsworth to ask him why he had not apologised to Dane for the tackle. Sid and the Port Vale players had a shouting match before Sid realised that Ainsworth wasnt in the coach and left.

We've never come up against them, but Ramos and Peper at Madrid.

Cunts of the highest order
Pepe, for sure!
Somewhere on you tube there's an unbelievable clip of him assalting a player who he cropped, I'll try to find it but it beggars belief!

Stephen Hunt. Probably mentioned previously.

Paul Butler of Wolves and Leeds was massive dick if I rightly remember.

John Aston, at all the many clubs he played for he was a constant thorn in our side and scored against us.
