Seems like a good time to get negative posts about the past out of the way before our golden era really gets into gear next season and Chris Wilder takes his place as Blades royalty
But without doubt, the most angry I've ever been about one particular match, the 2-0 against the pigs when robson was manager.
It's one thing that Wednesday were utterly shit and somehow managing to be lower in the league than robsons Blades team and that we were paying one of the highest wage bills on the league, but in this match I saw something I never thought I would ever see and haven't even seen since (and no I'm not talking about robsons interview after the match saying it was 'just another game').
What made my jaw drop in disbelief and my blood boil, was the fact that whilst we were 2-0 down, there were still 25 minutes to go and our players just completely gave up, not only against a thoroughly shit team (granted Billy sharp was still trying) but against Wednesday ffs.
The players just looked like they did almost every single week under robson, like they had no interest in trying their best and couldn't wait to go home to their mansions. To see players in Utd shirts playing like that at hillsborough was really shocking and kind of bizarre and surreal to see.
I've never seen such total and utter apathy and disrespect transfer itself from a manager to the pitch like that.
Even Micky Adams and David weir got some effort from the players, they just had no confidence and weren't really good enough.
Bryan Robson is head and shoulders the worst and outright most disgraceful manager I've seen.
Still, makes it even better that we've got Wilder now
