So did someone at Bradford once

PSV certainly overdid it recently...

Instead of people 'blaming' fans for going on the kop, or anywhere else for that matter, is just a reflection of the lack of respect for their fellow fans. Fans should be able to take kids without worrying about such things. There are lots of children suffer from athma these days and elderly fans too. As to YES Blade saying the majority of fans can use pyros correctly I think that is nonsense. The majority of fans would never consider taking such a thing to a football match and probably not even know where to get one from. Somewhat strangely compared to a number of fans on here I actually enjoy going to grounds to watch the football.

It's like the pitch invaders.

At Northampton they were jubiliant Blades.

Then against Bradford they were morons.

Then presumably those yesterday who fully respected the clubs wishes by not encroaching were alright again. Or maybe they were still morons but not visible. It's a Schrodingers Moron type of dilemma.

Exactly. Just surprised that the scenes on London Road yesterday, causing actual disruption to the bus timetable, haven't been condemned as the work of morons yet.

No valid point?

What if one of those flares meant to save lives started a fire? Go on Bradfords forum and ask them if they throw flares or let of pyro's. Cause it's feckin relevant, these are not toys (maybe to idiots) they are high temperature fire inducing devices.

Except that it was caused by a dropped match.

Do we have to have this debate after every game. Pyros have their advantages and disadvantages but as we've got a huge contingent of wannabe Turks and pyromaniacs we've got to get used to them. I still maintain that they are much safer when used correctly and not lobbed about due to fear of being banned so, therefore, I'd like to see them legalised, in the interests of safety if nothing else.

Define huge contingent? Probably a couple of hundred out of 30,000? Sorry but you lost all credibility with that statement.

Tyler Durden is right but unfortunately there are idiots posting shit. So round we go again.

That's a picture that should only be posted with extreme care as to the context. Just my opinion.

I don't think the Bradford tragedy and the use of smoke bombs in modern concrete stadia have enough in common to warrant it.

Especially if an ambulance had to make a 20 second detour to get to A&E, Deary me, imagine the outrage that would cause. We would all then be classed as murderous morons.

On a related note, At the Bradford game I was sitting directly in front of someone who spent the whole game coughing and sneezing all over me (and others). And yeah, guess what, I spent the the following week feeling like shit coughing my insides up. I'm asthmatic too by the way. Does that make the guy who went to the match knowing he was going to pass on his infection to all and sundry a moron too? Did I mind? Did I fuck, I don't go out wrapped in cotton wool.

By the way, that picture of the Bradford fire is in the worst possible taste and doesn't advance anyone's argument.

.

And thank you for opening up another can of worms.

How do you propose we "weed them out"?

Didn't get chance to read it fully but I briefly saw summat up on the big screen yesterday saying security procedures are changing, so possibly could be more searching of people on the way in next season?

Simple. The morons are the ones throwing them... into their own fans too! Why?! Hold on to the thing or are the poor little diddums too worried about getting caught and ending up with a slapped arse?

Children ruin the atmosphere, with their constant inane questions and shouting of incomprehensible nonsense.

CHILDREN OUT!

Maybe we could have a poll; what creates a better atmosphere, Pyro or Children?

Kids, or my lack of them are the reason I'm not allowed to go on the John Street stand. The club thinks it's ok to discriminate against people who don't have children.

Which I find far more offensive than the use of pyrotechnic devices.

Should have got in early like me when it was first rebuilt and wasn't all the family stand then... Part timer :D

And then if you were to just find and take another's child, so that you could get into John Street, you'd be the pariah. The world's gone mad.
