Morgan interview

Morgans interview didn't sound like it was being done at Huish Park to a Radio Sheffield reporter, it sounded like it was being done in a suit and tie at a desk, with Kevin McCabe the other side.

Feel harsh that Morgan has been put into this situation, although as a consenting adult he could have said no but in life opportunities sometimes present themselves when you least expect it and you have to give it a go. He doesn't have the ability, experience or know-how to be a first team manager just now, so giving him just 3 games to sort out our problems was a difficult ask. All the best managers get there through simply doing the job for long periods of time. Not over 3 games. If he took over in the summer, it would be a more mature approach, but KM was desperate and wanted a last-gasp run to see us through. It failed and now one decent hard-working player for United is fast turning to a zero.

As for his comments, I'm not going to defend him too much, but, a good man-manager will always do his best to protect his or her staff. When he became manager, he crossed that threshold and became responsible for them. All he's really said is a bunch of cliches that are used after every defeated club every game of the season, it just hurts more after the manner and importance of the defeat.

We don't want of those we need someone who will kick their arses into shape and make them realise that they only play if they are good enough.

That needs to go through the club including scouts and trainers who are bringing on the kids.

yeah.. sounds like a job interview

hes like danny wilson mark ii.
He has pick up a lot from him with the way he confronts the media and sets out the team. That is probably been the problem with his short reign in charge, we needed change and he hasn't changed it enough.
He tempted with change with the likes of putting in younger players Ironside, Mcfadzean on.
Replacing McDonnald after that poor second half performance against Swindon (which Wilson would have never done) but still not enough to stop the rot.
"No one will ever question the lads effort" but that comment is just plain ridiculous.

I can see his BBC interview as a pitch for the job alright.
What Chairman wouldn't like to hear his Manager say that minimum change was need for the next season?
That the players have been fantastic this season. That he would love to work with the present bunch.
That spells it out to McCabe that he will not need to provide much money for reinforcements.
Oh yes, Morgan has brown nosed McCabe alright.
Morgan has no history in the management game and it's a big risk that McCabe must avoid.

We had a guy who would do that called Neil ,look what happened to him ,and most on here didnt like him because his mentality comes across as arrogant.
