Woah, good interview he'll do for me. I liked the following points

“Will get feelings back in mi belly from when I wor a player”

Butterflies = care

Wish I could put the No.5 shirt on again !

He’ll get a response

Believe in themselves

Grasp the chance, he played from 19 to 34 and only got one promotion

Good mix of players

Done his badges but you need to work day to day and understand their strengths / weaknesses

Prepare them, set them up but they play / produce the performances

U21s that can step up are already in first team squad

Don’t get too far ahead of yourself only thinking about Swindon

Fantastic opportunity, wants to be a manager but wasn’t expecting it this quickly

Need a bit of luck

We won’t fall short on hard work

Heartfelt thanks to DW and FB and consulted them before taking the job

Did he not get promoted with Barnsley or was the prem season his debut?
 
Morgan talks well, and with his imposing personality and frame, his love and history with the club, and his image in the game, I'm sure he'll have the utmost respect of the players in the bag. Who wouldn't want to perform for this man?

Only time will tell about the longer term, but I really think this is a good end of season appointment.

I think the key thing here is that morgan could be just what we need in terms of lifting the crowd at the lane which might in turn lift the players .not sure this would have happened under warnock as some will always put there personal dislike of him over the well being of the club THAT is the bladesway
 



McCabe comes over as a bit of a mardy bugger in this interview. He doesn't like any hint of criticism does he?
 
Just listening to the Morgan interview, think he talks a good game but it remains to be seen if that can transfer to the pitch and that is the million pound question.

Fair play to Paul Walker for asking the right questions. McCabe seemed quite flustered, especially when asked if he thought he had backed Danny sufficiently.

Who does? What I thought was noticeable was how much like Doug Ellis he sounds and as for Green what a weak sod he is. McCabe shifts the blame to the football club Board but really it is a puppet board. Green is like an accounts clerk.

As for McCabe defending the Blackman sale yeah right. We sold this land for £1mill for development but its ok we're putting a load of prefabs an another piece to get similar rental yields! No the desparate actions of a clueless chump. Don't expect to win anything with McCabe in charge, he really does not impress me.

And remarkably McCabe said yes. The man is a con man, nothing more, nothing less. Even his justification for the sacking was along the lines of, "it was the board who told me." Not only does it stink of Wilson being stabbed in the back regardless of your own opinion on the decision, McCabes performance probably put off any decent manager who might be interested from applying for the post.
 
A number of times in the press conference, McCabe said something like "I've not seen many matches, I don't live in the country". Do you think we should have a whipround and buy him Blades Player for £38 a year?

I understand that they show extended highlights of all the matches, so McCabe would then be able to watch them all and make informed decisions based on the evidence of his own eyes.

If fans like Bergen Blade can make the effort to watch the games on Blades Player and keep abreast of things , is it too much to ask that the Owner of the club does the same?

Depends if Bergs has got owt else better to do I guess.

I have visions of Bergen Blade in a sauna listening to Blades Player pouring ice cold water over his hot rocks and beating himself with a pine branch.

ryan shawcross?? i reckon the only weird fantasies Bergen has are about player formations .. i could be wrong though
