Is it common for ex players to stay at their club coaching? Our fans seem to call for it a lot, lost count how many times it’s been said about sharp hanging up his boots and becoming a coach here, what’s to say these ex players have what ot takes to coach others

It's because he might teach our defenders to look as though they intend to foul strikers this giving needless penalties away against Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea etc.

Also, I get Morgs was not Alan Hansen, Bobby Moore or even Jackie Charlton but he must have some experince to pass onto these players. He won a promotion, had several clubs, a good career. I was really wanting a reason why he is not coaching other than he kicked the shit out of players and thus he wouldn't be a coach. Someone commented that he is an agent now, that would be a good reason.

I honestly don’t know, but it was being questioned why he wasn’t our coach - which suggests the op thinks he should be. I’m saying other than being a Blade, why?

As pointed out above, his style (which I love by the way) is from a different era.
