I will always remember Hateley for scoring the header in England's famous friendly win at Brazil in 1984. Overshadowed by the John Barnes classic.

Whats all this love for a player who gives 100% they all should. Football should be about mastery of the football , the ability to beat a player and to strike a ball .Things Monty had none off , he was absolute garbage , he couldn't trap a bag of cement let alone a football .
