it's also about respect for the fact that we are grown ups who can do what the fook we like when typing.
When I hand write things I do it in none joined up writing, no one says anything about it at work because it doesn't matter so long as they can read it.
You may care deeply about spelling grammar and ppunctuation but I just write how I write as do a lot of other people.
You are not my mum and only she has the right to critisise thingas I do and she is wrong most of the time in my opinion.

having earlier on revealed what sort of age you are the fact you resort to childish name calling ( ploddy ) shows how pathetic you are. Monty does a great job for the team. Every club needs a monty and if monty could hit the back of the net 7 or 8 times a season he'd be worth a hell of alot of money

I'm accused of childish name calling by the person who comes out with 'arseholes' , 'know nowt', 'pathetic' and 'hasn't a clue' on this thread alone!

I think 'Ploddy' sums up the way Montgomery plays and is, in any event, rather gentle compared to the aforementioned insults. I have a very thick skin and have not taken offence. I'm sure Ploddy can take it too.

What i mean by bigger is that you have to state how many United matches you have attended, how many grounds you have visited, and how many years you have followed United, in order to validate the point you made.

i thought he was involved under bruce? but maye not it is a long time ago. Still there's 3 managers that found him to be an integral part of their side and i'm sure they know far more about the game than Pinchy. Although he has probably been to more league grounds than them!!

It's really out of order. It's a forum and people offer their opinions. You can rubbsih someones opinion, or rather constructively shoot it down, but calling people aresholes and twats shouldn't take place.

Monty has played pushing 300 games for the club and people are questioning his loyalty? i wouldn't blame monty if he decided to move on when there's arseholes slagging him off and questioning his commitment.

Even other members such as Revolution clearly pointed out the point I was making. You clearly haven't! From what i gather you seem to have come in, wrongly assumed it's a 'I hate Monty' thread and then gone charging around like a bull in a China shop. There you go wading in with a peoples opinion differs to mine so they are areshles comment!!? Yes my post was padantic and provocative (I intended it to be) but if you think this thread is actually about Monty's commitment to the club then you are misguided! This goes for several other Blades members too.

What cracks me up is that people actually think that footballers, who are not the brightest bulb in the chandelier of life (forgive the generalisation), actually think about anything in great depth. They will look after themselves first, second and third; pretty much like most of us. Working through complex scenarios about how they will look if they do this or that rarely happens. If I work for those people they will pay me more, give me a longer contract and I don't need to move house, so I'll go there! I've been here long enough, I fancy a change of scenary! That's the level of thought from them. Footballers are as committed to their employer as most of the population!

No, he made his debut (in one of my least favourite games ever) in October 2000 some 10 months after Warnock had taken over.

Since that day we have played 419 league games of which he has started less than half (208). Not quite as integral as you might think?

This does highlight one of the the most interesting things about football ....... it polarises views in the most amazing way.

But lets all remember one thing; we are all Blades and when the current crop of players have gone/retired and we have parted company with Blackwell, WE will all still be here.
