He looked really promising in the youth cup final but I hadnt really watched the youth team much before that so I will take your word

I thought he had a good 1st half in both games but faded in the 2nd. As with most of them, need strengthening up for life in League 1.

Thought he had a nightmare in the first leg until he scored, then looked to gain some confidence/nerves settled, and did better. Agree that he need to bulk up.

The Man U kids looked that bit stronger all over the pitch and Pembo said in his post match that most of theirs were a year ahead of ours.

It would be interesting to see how Philliskirk compares against the youth team.

Be interesting to see what happens with Philliskirk now tbh. I assume Adams wanted him with a view to next season, but my initial thought when he came on loan was that he was being used as a yardstick to measure both the Reserves and Youth level of talent. Presumably he showed enough to be better than most of the Reserve lads and Adams took a punt on him. But if DW doesn't see him stepping up to first team then he's an expense we don't need.
